This is one of my favorite courses that I only get to play once or twice a year. No ranger and a slow group in front of us slowed play to a five hour round. Also, the men's room was not clean. The winter had been rough on the course and it wasn't quite up to its usual condition. I appreciate how they have kept prices reasonable and staff is always helpful and friendly. I hate that I can't give it a five star rating but if I"m being honest, four stars are the best I can do.

Beautiful layout in near perfect condition. Just became one of my favorite courses in the Orlando area.

Six or eight groups of very young children basically stopped play. They were with adults but still didn't let us go through. Eventually we skipped a few holes and did not finish the whole round.

Good fairways, good greens, good bunkers. I can't think of anything to complain about.

Very dry and in need of work both on fairways and greens. Still fun to play, a friendly staff, and I plan to play it again.

Love to play it so much, I can tolerate the slowness.

The weather was bad and my playing partner and I had the course to ourselves thus a fast pace of play.
The course seemed like it needed a lot of work. I cannot recommend Royal Virginian until I see that
things have improved. Almost forgot, the course plays long.

Fun to play. Excellent practice facilities. Friendly and courteous staff. One of my three favorite courses in the area.

Greens very slow which was the difference in a three and four star.

Lots of good things about this course. It can be a little dry and the greens are challenging. They had been working on their greens and the putting was inconsistent. It was a windy day and I thought that the course played long and difficult. Overall, I enjoyed the round and plan on playing there again.

Playing this course is a tremendous value. The staff is great. It is heavily played in busy season but still in great shape considering. I'd like the greens to be watered a little more but the hardness is part of links golf. Sometimes your only play from off the green is to putt. I consider it a wonderful course and a super value and look forward to playing it again soon.

Great course, excellent in every way. Found a special rate making the experience an excellent value.

Played December 19th. It was after rain and the course was damp and difficult. The greens were good considering the time of year. Bermuda grass in the fairways was dormat and brown so it's really hard to compare the course in winter. I've played it in the summer and it is much better.
