They were aware of the gravity of Covid: there is a sign in the clubhouse stating to leave all flagsticks in each hole.
The same employee claimed it was included on the Golf Now website, which was false. No other course I have played has tried to gouge me as a single cart user in the Covid era.

It hasn’t rained in days, yet the course was very soft, even muddy on about half the holes. Wait for the dry season before playing here. And your golf shoes better be waterproof!

Love the course, greens haven’t recovered from aeration and are a little uneven. Course in great shape otherwise.

Love the course, but the greens are just ok. The recent aeration job hasn’t settled in well and the greens are not rolling true.. The rest of the course is excellent shape and is one of my favorites in the area.

Excellent course in great shape. Take lots of ammo, you will lose balls unless you are ready for the tour.

Bring lots of ammunition, there’s water on every hole. It’s in great shape and is a fun and challenging layout. One of my new favorites.

I’ve played 10-12 different courses this summer, and this is the best golf I found. Great greens, fun Palmer layout, excellent golf. This is my new favorite in Tampa Bay.

I’ve played at least 12 courses locally since Covid 19, and Cheval is in the best condition. Definitely worth the price on Golf Now.

I know Covid has made course maintenance difficult, but the uneven and lumpy greens are signs of long-term problems. I had virtually no putts roll true all day, and I can roll the ball.
I won’t be going back anytime soon.

Even though greens had just been aerated, it was still a fun round of golf. I wouldn’t have enjoyed it if I paid full price though. By late June Cypress Creek will be one of Tampa’s best conditioned courses.

What a disappointment to find crappy greens at Apollo Beach! Repeatedly my putts took zigzag turns on the greens; and let’s face it, that course without good greens is a waste of time and money. Some of the problems were unrepaired ball marks, and some was very poor turf management. I know, it’s Covid19, but I’m comparing it to other courses, and their greens aren’t good.

Greens were slow but true; fairways dried out and spotty, but playable . Good value, fun layout.

An interesting layout with above average greens, but the fairways were very inconsistent and dried out. Big hitters will be frustrated by the target golf. Older players will love it. There are lots of hazards, so if you’re not playing well, you should take an extra sleeve of balls with you.

The course was aerated the day I played, which made the course almost unplayable. It was horrible. I would never pay to play any course in those conditions. I know it has to be done, but inform customers before taking their non refundable money.

Big hitters won’t enjoy the length(or lack thereof), but the uneven ground gave it a Links feeling. The variety of lies and stances is unusual for central Florida and was quite a surprise located just a mile off I-4. Course was in good shape.
A lot of fun!

Course crowded, but played in under 3.5 hours. Course in pretty good shape despite near drought conditions.
