First time I had played here in about 15 years. Course was well-maintained and pace of play was good (also helped that we went off early). Some holes are open and some can get pretty tight. Really good hole variety from the tips with a great mix of long and short holes. Did not expect to be paired up on a wednesday morning, but worked out well. The guy was an ace, had great conversation and was a solid player too. Will definitely play again when in the mountains. Price seemed high, but I guess most decent courses are these days no matter when you play them.

One of my favorite places on Earth. Staff is so friendly and helpful and the golf course is immaculate. The course is very narrow, but has excellent hole variety and the conditions are always pristine. Pace of play needs to be monitored better, but that’s the only slight I would give. This is such a special place.

This is the only Kiawah course that actually isn’t on Kiawah Island ( it’s on Johns Island). That being being said, you get the world class Kiawah treatment. All employees I encountered were superb and went out of their way to make sure you had a great day out. Course conditions were lush and beautiful. Greens rolled well. Hole variety was probably a 7/10, which is the only set back. Definitely were some great holes, but was hoping for more than I got. Everything else was 10/10. Would love to play this course again, but I enjoyed Cougar Point more.

Maintenance crew does a fantastic job of always keeping the course in excellent condition considering the volume of play it receives. Fun layout and pretty open in most spots. Greens can be tricky if you get in the wrong spots, but also plenty of slopes to utilize to get the ball close on approach shots. Pace of play isn’t very good, but that’s due to amount of play and course difficulty. Rangers do their best to keep play moving, but aren’t obnoxious about it. Best public course in Raleigh and always enjoyable to play.

This was one of the best and most scenic (ocean and sound views, deer everywhere, etc) golf courses I’ve played. Fantastic layout, but very narrow in spots with small greens. Plenty of target golf required, but still fun and a fair test. All aspects were of the course were incredibly well maintained and playing it for $80 was a steal. Staff was first class and genuinely wanted you to have a first class experience. Course probably doesn’t get the attention it deserves because Fripp Island is so isolated.

Beautiful golf course that will challenge all aspects of your game. It’s fair but difficult. Lots of elevation changes, few flat lies, and severely undulating greens but fairly forgiving for errant shots. Course was in very good shape aside from several bunkers that are being redone due to drainage/irrigation issues. The views on the course are gorgeous. It’s a treat coming home and being able to play here.

I know this is considered one of the lesser Pinehurst Resort courses, but it was excellent. Course was immaculate, fun and challenging. It’s a Ross course so you know the greens will be tricky and they were. Fair amount of OB so you need to be accurate, which can be tough because it’s short and tight in spots. If you can keep it play and have have a decent short game, a low score can be had. I would gladly play it again and thought the price was very fair.

Greens were a little rough in some spots and a few bunkers weren't in great shape, but everything else was very good. Fun and enjoyable course.

Spectacular venue. Course had a superb layout and was in excellent shape. Bunkers are the course’s strongest defense as there are few water hazards. Greens were difficult, but fair. Must play course if you get the opportunity. Staff was helpful and very friendly. First class experience.

Layout is very good and course is in excellent condition. You’ll be hard pressed to play on better greens in the area. Tough to get a tee time as course is always packed due to good rates and having a ton of members. Pace of is play is painfully slow. Great track though.

Beautiful course with a very tough layout. Not the course you want to be on if you're struggling with your game. Holes had excellent variety. Greens were quick and undulated. Fairly open off the tee, but trouble everywhere if you miss the fairway or green. Solid test of golf.

First time playing here in about 15 years. Course layout & condition were superb. Good test of golf, but very fun as well. All staff encountered were friendly and helpful. Definitely one of the best courses in the area and a must-play while there.

Fun course with very good hole variety. Course was very wet when I played it as it poured the night before, but the greens were slick. Hole 17 is tough with the tees all the way back. Course is open, but short game needs to be on point as the greens are very sloped.

I’m very partial to this course as my family has vacationed at Edisto most of my life. It’s a beautiful course and is always in wonderful shape. Short and narrow and rewards accuracy. Great mix of holes (straight, doglegs, forced carries, etc.) Water and OB on almost every hole. Wish I was able to play it more than I do. Staff is very nice and appreciative. Restaurant (Ella & Ollie’s) beside the course is fantastic! Can’t wait to go back, wish it wasn’t 5 hours away.

This place was spectacular! First Kiawah Course I’ve played other than the Ocean Course. Fairways were lush and greens were like carpet. Very fun and challenging course and the holes had great variety. Staff was excellent and made sure you had a great day out. Can’t wait to return to Kiawah, it truly is golfer paradise. Only downside is the pro shop was still closed due to COVID.

I’ve played this course twice now. First time in 30 mph winds and second time in the rain. Mother Nature doesn’t like me playing here. Solid course, but difficult. Greens are very undulated and the course is tight with woods and a lot of OB. If you can play this course well, you can score anywhere. Conditions were decent and the staff were friendly and welcoming.

Played on a Sunday morning in about 2 hours 15 minutes as I was the first one out. Great golf course. First time playing it in about 20 years. Very old and traditional layout. Not a lot of hole variety, but the greens are small and complex. Course was in excellent shape and I’ll gladly play it again next time an opportunity arises. Employees couldn’t have been nicer.
