The grass was so high in the fairways you couldn’t find your ball even though you saw exactly where it went. The bathroom on the course was locked. The grass everywhere needed to be cut badly. We left after 9 holes, not enjoyable at all. Last year this course was in good shape???

The course is going down. Several trees are down from wind damage. There are several big sink holes on the course that have been there for years, just getting bigger. There are no course rangers, play is very slow. They allow 5-6 people to play together in a group and it backs up everybody else. This makes people mad and they start skipping holes and going around these slow groups and it’s a real mess. I only play there because it’s so close to my house.

Definitely need a ranger on this course. Play was extremely slow. Started about 20 minutes past our tee time and play was extremely slow. Did enjoy the couple we were pared up with.

The storm the night before was really bad, lots of rain. We figured the course would be closed but it was cart path only. This course drains very well. Shocked at how well it had dried out overnight. Another great day of golf at Old South. We played here 3 days this week- all 3 were great!

The play was extremely slow. Backed up on 1st hole 5-6 carts deep. They were sending people out like every 5 minutes. Walk ins without tee times were being put out on the course. They are going to loose their greens if some good maintenance is not done soon. Fairways looking pretty shabby too. We love playing here but it’s getting to be in pretty bad shape.

We had a 3:26pm tee time. Play was soooo slow at times it was painful. We love this course. Try to play here whenever we come to Florida. Course was in great shape, beautiful greens, etc.

We’re from Tn and play from Va to Florida. This course was exceptional today. From pace of play to conditions, all was great. Thanks for a great morning round of golf!

This course needs help BAD. All needs mowing, loosing greens, etc. could use a LOT of TLC. The hay needs to be bailed!

The course is beautiful, well laid out, mowed well, greens in excellent shape. Friendly staff. Our only complaint- it should not take over 5 hours to play 18 holes. Extremely slow play, totally wore us out waiting and waiting on every hole. We played at 1pm thinking play would be fast, boy were we wrong. We’d love to play this course again if the play moved along at a regular pace. Need a ranger!

Course well maintained. Play a little slow but it was a Saturday.Enjoyed the day. Will play here again.

Course is in good shape. Pace of play very slow. Rained on us at 9. Cooled it down a little but sure didn’t increase the speed of play. Rangers were out but still very slow. All in all a good day

When we booked this T time had no idea the front 9 was being aeriated-closed. We played the back 9 twice. Really had a great day, no pushing us to hurry. Great course, very nice staff.

Would have been nice to know the front 9 had been aeriated. We played the back 9 twice which was fine. Had the whole course basically to ourselves which was great. Course was in great shape . Really enjoyed the day.

We really enjoyed playing this course. No pushing , basically had the course to ourselves. It was hot but ok because we didn’t have to rush. Enjoyed every minute,will definitely be back.

Sloppy wet, quit after 4 holes. Miserable trying to play, needed cow boots.

Wind blowing so hard and it was so cold trying to play was useless. Probably could have played ok if the 3 in front of us would have moved on or let us play thru. As it was we had to wait and wait and freeze to death. Course was in good shape.

Best golf day . Weather was perfect, course in great shape
