pleasant course, though the starter could do more to keep things organized.

although it was crowded, the staff did a great job starting a LOT of players all day long. The greens were a bit like cobblestone in some places and the course was under repair in others, but all the holes played Short! great rolls. Very picturesque and very good company. Huge fun.

I visit Alabama often, but my golfer family members advised against playing RTJ courses as too hard. I'm only an intermediate golfer, don't have a handicap yet, but I LOVED this course.

beautiful setting. course had had a lot of rain so cart path only, for good cause.

Negative: club rental more than greens fees and we got INCOMPLETE club sets. Lucky they didn't want to charge us for the missing clubs when we returned them!

Beautifully contoured holes and greens, some with evil tee placement. Pace of play VERY slow. Everyone backed up. Not consistent with the pricing.

The course is situated in flat Ohio farmland, with gravel cartpath, a few water hazards and several scruffy bunkers. The condition of the fairways and greens is very good, but the layout of the course and the skill of the participating golfers results in lots of trespassing from each fairway to the next. Lots of lost balls, coming and going.
The worst feature was the lack of a starter or ranger. The staff lets singles or twosomes start a few minutes after each other, so the backups are constant. We suggested the single behind us to join us, which was fine. When we suggested the twosome in front of us to join the twosome in front of them to speed up play, we were attacked with rude and crude language and gestures. Why????

wide fairways, thick grass "rough" - crazy 18th hole with a creek meandering across the fairway and back.

easy course, not wonderfully maintained, but lots of fun for us intermediate players. The termite mounds were softer than the sand traps.

Nice course - lots of grass, for being in the desert. Well maintained, wide fairways, very nice people.

Late afternoon tee time so not crowded and time to enjoy my daughter and have fun.
