Took a tee time with the shotgun start. Great idea. Avoided that early morning chill, we all started at 11. Our deal included all the range balls you wanted....driving, pitching, putting....before or after playing. I think we were 4 hours 20 minutes for our round. The course is flat, so very walkable. The scenery is lovely, all those red rocks. (If you want drop dead gorgeous - come to Canmore or Banff Alberta). I digress. Greens are tricky but fair and in really good condition...you guys ....repair a ball mark even if you aren’t sure it’s yours! personnel are wonderful.
Now the part to improve...food service.... we hit the concession for a bite (if that phone order thing on the 9th isn’t going to work, get rid of it,,). No menu in sight, or sign above the bar with offerings. You only have a few minutes to grab something....only thing in sight for us ...two bratwurst. How difficult is it to have some fresh chopped onions???and decent mustard??? And better buns than the white, balloon buns on offer! Anyway, as I’m paying, bratwurst already with ketchup etc on them, someone comes up and orders a chicken sandwich, and he’s told it will be brought out to him in ten minutes! Whaaaat! Had I known....so only average stars to you guys in this area.
