Even with very little rain this year, Olde Sycamore was in great shape. I haven't played this course in over 5 years but remembered it as having a friendly staff and great conditions.

They still do and the reasons why you should consider playing there. I was a single and the staff told me I could go off early if I wanted to join someone. Pace of play was great and the greens were fast and smooth.

I will play there again when I return to the Charlotte area.

Had mixed feelings playing for first time but rate was too good to pass up. Pros- friendly staff, great rate, uncrowded, great weather. Cons- greens are bumpy and have some fungus making them roll terribly. The back nine was much better being wide open where the sun could dry them out after our wet winter. Other than that if you're in the area you should try it out.

I've played Southbridge many times and this visit was about the same. The weather had been rainy for several days so the course was a little wet but I love the layout. Bunkers need some attention. The cart paths are really torn up but the greens were in great shape for the off season.

Its worth your time to play.

This course has seen many improvements since the new owners took over. However, the greenside bunkers desperately need sand. I played out of two until I got tired of finding hard ground each time. I laid out of any others I found. It's really an easy fix.

I've played this course often for about 3.5 years. I've never found it in bad shape. Conditions were wet this time around after a recent 2 days of off and on rain. There were 2 groups of hooligans playing in front of us and when I called the pro shop, they immediatley came out and sped up play.

Definitely a good play if you're in the area.

Good challenge and course was in better than average shape for December. Course was being groomed as we played on a Friday.

I've played this course twice since October and despite little rainfall, the course was too wet to play one time and should have been cart path only the other time. There were no restictions either time.
