Best in Niagara

Played mid week in under 4 hours with a noontime start. Course is in excellent shape, the greens are fast but not as much break as it appears. Only minor issue is the fairway bunkers need more sand, greenside bunkers were soft.

Wonderful outing

Layout is very enjoyable but the Par 3's are really challenging with strong headwinds. Hillside was great and overall fairways and greens are in good shape. Tee boxes could use some attention.

Great public course

Course is in good shape. Greens have plenty of movement and are challenging. Not terribly long but accuracy off the tee is essential. Very windy day so that added to the stroke count.

Greens great, fairways not so much

Found the greens wonderful to putt on. The fairways were ok at best, off line around the greens and you were faced with a lot of hard pan.
Starting with two par 5's in a row is strange but there were some interesting holes. In review, it could be OK if you lived nearby but not worth a 40 minute drive.

Changing over time

When first opened years ago this was our favorite for a week long golf trip with the boys. With all the new homes being build around the course, it has lost a lot of its original appeal. Holes are being modified either to speed up play ( a Marshall could do ) or modified for the development. With all the traffic congestion coming out from 192 west, it is too long a drive to Harmony for the benefit.

Pleasant experience

The greens were in great shape and fairways were good. Only issue is with all the water, the holes start looking similar after awhile.
Would play again for sure.

Serious need of maintenance

Greens are in poor shape and almost no maintenance on course. Power carts not lasting 18 holes. New owner not investing in course. A great course of years past is a disgrace today.

Wow how wrong this comment is. I just played this course on 12/13/2016
You only rate at 1 Star all others rate at 3 on the same week
The greens are nearly perfectly maintained. Fairways very good. My foursome and I think your rating was totally out of line and unfair to the club who seems to be on the right direction compared to 2015
You don't know how to rate a golf course. Get your eyes checked.

Good weather
Walked

summer "blues'

The fairways are not watered so the only green that you see are the 'greens' themselves. The fairways are like hitting off of concrete and the bounces off of them make finding your ball difficult. Would not return until the rains come.
