Let me be clear, the staff…AWESOME!!! The course layout beautiful! The fairways are good. Now the greens…SOOOO BAD!!! That and the 4 1/2 hour plus pace of play is keeping this from being a diamond. Just a little tlc and getting snowbirds to pick up and go is all this course needs. Staff…seriously awesome!

Lone Tree is an awesome course and is taken care of superbly. Needed to say that because the greens keepers are often overlooked. They are the unseen heroes of this course! Now, to the people you DO see. Restaurant staff: completely fantastic! Cart person: rockstar! Pro shop staff: wicked sweet awesome! If you are looking for a plutonic good time, lone tree is where it is at!

Was a really hot day but a ton of fun! Course was in good shape!

Can’t beat the price for the course being in awesome shape!!! Staff was great from cart bar to pro shop to cart girl! Thank you for a terrific day!

Course was incredibly awesome and staff was even better! Will be back!

Course was in great shape! Staff was very friendly and the pace was very good! Would’ve been better but caught up to some wanna be pga guys that kept us at a 4 hour round. Otherwise would’ve been 3:45. Not the course’s fault at all though. Was a great day because of the staff first and the course second.

In August, most “snow birds” haven’t made it down to Arizona and the courses haven’t started overseeding. In most cases, staff is minimal and amenities are light. The Legacy, however, treats you as though you’ve paid a country club rate! The staff is AWESOME, the course condition is AWESOME and since it is still pretty warm, the pace of play is...you guessed it...AWESOME!!!! I will be spending most of my summer rounds at The Legacy. Hope to see some...not all...of you there!;-)

Please don’t pay any mind to someone who complains about aeration this time of year!!! The greens were in great shape! The grounds crew is doing an incredible job keeping the course playable during the seasonal change over. Staff was great! Get out and play Apache Creek!

Course overall was almost perfect! Greens are a bit rough in spots. Great experience though! A special mention to Kyle from the cart barn! Very friendly and a voice of reason on a ridiculously hot 112* day!!! He forced a cool towel on me! Lol! Thanks Kyle! You are a rockstar!

Played the front 9 in 2 1/2 hours, at the turn had to wait for 3 groups! Went to the pro shop and asked if there were any marshals. Person at desk barely acknowledged my existence and said no without even looking up! Total round time just under 5 hours. Waited every shot. Greens burned out bad! Only bright spot was the hot dog I bought for my son.

Haven’t played here is over a year due to the course looking unkept and ignored to a certain extent. SO GLAD I CAME BACK!!! Don’t know what change happened or when but all I can tell you is the Duke is in excellent condition! Bravo Zulu to an incredible turn around! We will be back!!!

Round was fun. Got caught behind a 5-some that kept up on the front nine but slowed down on the back and wouldn’t let our 3some play through. I wish there had been a marshal on the course Aside from that, everything else was perfect!

Course is in great shape and the staff are very accommodating!

The course has been recently bombarded by the monsoons. Mad props to the grounds crew for getting it back to good shape. The greens were a bit shaggy but for the most part rolled true. Staff is great! Pro shop to bar, wonderful people.

The course is set up to any level of play. There are opportunities for lots of fun for every level golfer! The greens were very smooth and it was a fun round.

The course is a great layout. It is in decent shape. The greens were not good. Slow and bumpy is not the way. Staff was great. Pace of play was good.
