Boone Creek Golf Club - Creekside Course
Played On 08/06/2017Simple and Straightforward
Love playing Boone Creek. It is a simple, straight, fairly easy course that allows you to brush up on your game. Fairways and rough is forgiving and the greens are in good shape always. The pace of play is fantastic considering there are 3 9 hole courses rather than 1 18 hole. The prices can't be beat and the practice area is great. I'll be playing here more this year.
Redtail Golf Club
Played On 08/06/2017Phenomenal Given Recent Storm!!
The area was hit very hard with monumental storms and flooding just a week before playing and even so, the course was in great shape. One of the long par 5's was flooded and eroded the fairway grass thus the hole was turned into a neat little par 3 teeing off from the end of the fairway. The rest of the course was in awesome shape as always and the price can't be beat given the quality of staff and course. I'm going to play here as much as possible in the fall!
Old Top Farm Golf Course
Played On 05/15/2016A Simple 9-hole
You can drive right past it if you're not careful. It is a little slice of calm and simple golf. The course is never too crowded and the pace of play is good, never having to wait over 5 minutes per round for others. The clubhouse is as basic as they come with just a desk, some tables to eat at, and a little practice green. The staff is pretty nice, sometimes I've paid different prices over the several times I golfed there which was odd (and they do not offer a twilight by the way).
The course layout is fantastically executed considering the smaller size of the property. The course is surrounded by farmland on each side offering a quiet golf experience. The greens are always in good condition and fairways are never too hairy. Pricing isn't as cheap as you would think, but often times you have the course nearly to yourself so I suppose it is worth the price.
I'll absolutely be returning here a few times in the summer.
