We all know this was an exceptionally hot summer . That being said the course is in ok condition but not as good as other public courses in the same area which I am pretty sure have the same weather as they are within three miles . Covid has prevented players from raking traps so why does it seem that the course has stopped maintaining them . That is something regardless of the weather unless we are talking about too much rain should be good no weeds or grass in the traps . Maybe there is a financial pinch just get the feeling they are scaling back on the maintenance . This is a year round resort October things should be pretty good . I have played the course a few times a year for 7 years this is the roughest I have seen it . Still enjoyable still respectable but not what it should be . If Greg Norman came to see his course he would be pretty disappointed .

Had some friends in from out of town I know being around part time that Silverrock is a must play . Conditions are always very good . Nice layout tucked up against the hills . Lots of tee options . AS I expected very enjoyable . They will be back again next May . Certainly one of the very best public courses in the valley

Course is one of the better public courses in the Coachella Valley . Lay out and conditions are typically very good

Golfers not loving this course are just wanting something easier . Lots of fun every hole a scenic adventure . Play the correct tees . Unless you are an honest 5 or under play the whites or blue white combo

Other than the first three holes that I would describe as Florida like this course is awesome . Although they are good holes just not unique like the rest of the course . Tremendous variety of holes . Many of which have nice elevation changes snaking through the canyons adjacent to the mountains . Greens are typically small narrow elevated and crowned so I cannot imagine how tough that could be if the wind ever blew . Huge drive by range but irons the day we played because I think the tee was so far up . Hopefully with the tees back woods would be allowed . I have played many great courses in the valley this is another one that I would highly recommend if you enjoy views and variety . Tough but not brutal

I play the Stadium course a few of times throughout the year. Course is exciting usually in very good condition and the weather is perfect. I do however question the management or lack of. Started at 1:03 on a Sunday afternoon. Cart girl sees us on the first hole and tells us she will see us in a few more so we pass on lunch and snacks. Don't See her again until the 9 the green. Snack bar at the 10 th tee is closed . Limited selection of food on the cart. My biggest complaint is the water coolers around the entire back nine were empty. Pretty warn day getting to about 107 having some water every 3 rd hole is important. This is a world class facility even prisoners have access to water. Luckily were are relatively young and able to tough it out . Seems kind of bush leagues that this would happen. Usually rangers are driving around with water did not see one of them either .

If you want an enjoyable round this is it . Pretty forgiving off the tee but by no means easy . Miss the fairway and you are on decomposed granite if you can find it . Lots of room around the greens If you miss . Lots of water great variety of holes very well conditioned for early September in the desert . Staff treats you like you are at a private country club especially Rosie in the pro shop . I will certainly be back . Less maintained turf than most courses this might be the future of courses in Southern California .

Normally great conditions but in preparation for the heat greens have been recently Aerified . That was not a big deal but the fairways were so wet you felt like you were doing damage driving a cart on them . Tough unless you can pick your irons splat if you don't . One temporary green that was just being Aerified pro shop said nothing about this but the price was discounted . Always a fun course I smile sure in a week or 2 conditions will be fantastic . Fairways are very wide on most but not all holes . Lots of bunkers protecting the large greens . Pretty views as much of the course hugs the mountains . Typically you will see some desert Bighorn Sheep grazing on the back nine as I did Sunday . Staff is always nice food is very good and fast .

So many courses have a handful of good holes the rest of the holes nothing special . At the stadium every hole is strong and different. If you play the tees which match your ability the day will be even more enjoyable . The fairways are pretty forgiving it is the shots into the greens that get tough . Not that you can be wild off the tee but not too many places to lose a ball or hit it ob . Despite a few weeks of 100 degree weather early in the year the conditions were excellent . Should be good to see the pros back in January

Fantastic day on the course . Mid day mid week perfect weather 3 hour round never saw another group until 15. Course was very good . Tees and fairways some of the best ever . Greens were smooth but pretty crusty and hard considering this should be the best conditions of the year . Not one weak hole on the course they are all interesting and enjoyable . Make sure you play the Stadium course if you are in the Coachella Valley . Cannot wait to play it again .

Fun course to play greens, tees and fairways are pretty good . Sand traps have been neglected and need work . Many interesting holes with elevation changes . Pace of play was good considering the time of year . Most holes are forgiving off the tee but there are huge ball swallowing bushes if you get off the fairway . Have not played the course for about 10 years anxious to go back . We played the North course . If you are looking fir a differ t course that is not huge dollars this is a good option
