This was my first time playing this course, I had heard some good things about it from friends. Overall, it’s a nice course, but I honestly don’t think it’s worth the price. The course itself was in good shape, but it was very soggy (even though we haven’t had any rain in 5 days, and it’s been a dry few months overall). It was cart path only - but it seems that has been a summer/fall rule, from what I have read in other reviews. The greens were extremely receptive to approach shots, but were almost too soft, as the ball never seemed to release. Lots of tucked pins, which made it difficult to score, but the greens rolled true. The only reason why I don’t rate it higher (other than the price) is that there are a number of holes were it feels like you are playing target golf. There is nothing wrong with that, but it almost felt like they tried to squeeze 18 holes into an acreage that could only support 14 holes. There are a few tee shots where you really have to hit it and hope, because between the small landing area and the sometimes blind tee shot, it’s almost more luck than skill to keep the ball in play. But some of the views are spectacular, and the changing of the leaves made it even better. All in all, I would recommend it to a friend, and would go back and play again.
