Shorecliffs Golf Club
Played On 10/14/2022There working on it
There is a lot of construction going on right now. Only 17 holes available. Course is in fair condition. Played on golf now hot deal which was $45. That was a lot for the condition of the course. Would never pay there course rate which was around $50. It maybe a course worth that much someday but not now. Pace of play was slow because there was not starter so twosomes did not get hooked together and there was one twosome that held up the whole course. The marshal was a real nice guy but didn’t help move the slow twosome along.

Haven’t played since course redesign started. There is only 17 holes available, a lot of par 3’s. The course is par 67. There is a lot of construction going on and some holes closed. Staff very friendly and helpful. Pace of play was a little slow. No starter so a lot of 2 some’s that should have been 4-some’s. I would play elsewhere until redesign is done. Not worth the near $50 to play.

Played On 08/02/2022Great place to play
Great course, in nice shape. Greens are very nice. Grounds crew is top notch. Ruff was tuff but you’re not supposed to be in it, stay out of it and your round will be pain free. Good layout with plenty of challenging holes. Staff is great from pro shop to starter. Will play again.
Warrenton Golf Course
Played On 10/10/2021Needs work
Tee boxes we in bad shape, doesn’t look like the tee blocks have been moved in a month. Some tee boxes haven’t been cut in a while. Fairways were ok. Greens had been cut but lots of grass clippings on the greens and most had burnt spots on them. Pace of play was slow as they allow 5 some’s and there were a few there, also no starter so we were behind 3 singles that should have been paired up but no starter to make that happen. Did a $25 golfnow but wouldn’t pay anymore than that.

Played On 06/16/2021Great course in great shape
Visiting from out of town and have played this course 4 times. It’s a 45 minute drive for me but we’ll worth the time. Tee boxes, fairways and green all in great shape. If you’re in the area, play this course you will be glad you did.
Range End Country Club
Played On 06/08/2021Best I’ve seen in this area
Visiting the area for couple weeks and have been doing Golfnow hot deals to check out different courses. I drove 50 minutes to get to this course and it was worth every mile. Most courses I’ve played have been barley worth the deep discounted prices. This course is the exception. The 7:04 hot deal time was like $18 and was way to cheap. This course is a bargain at the $31 senior daily price. This course has the look of a private club. Greens and fairways are perfect, and the ruff was easy to play out of. Every aspect of this course was great. There are interesting holes and real Par 3’s, some 180 yards uphill. The course has just enough elevation change to make you use every club in your bag. I will play this course several more times during this visit as well as future visits. The grounds crew and staff could not have been more friendly. I work at a golf course at home and know the effort that goes into keeping a course I’m this kind of shape. The management and staff take pride in there work and it shows. If you get a chance, play this course you will be glad you did.
Country Lake Golf Club
Played On 09/05/2021Just ok
Course was in fair shape. Tee boxes we very bad, lots of weeds and tee markers haven’t been moved in a while. Played behind two guys that had their 8 or 9 year old kids driving the carts. They were slow and could care less about us having to wait. No marshal on the course. Called club house and they did nothing. Overall just a good practice round for the GolfNow $26 discount price.

Played on 100 degree day. Course was in nice shape, greens were nice.
Pevely Farms Golf Club
Played On 07/10/2020Long, Rolling hills, lots of trouble but fun to play.
Nice course, long with lots of trouble everywhere and rolling hills. It’s all the course you can handle, hard, but fun. Played at 11am course was crowded but pace was just over 4 hours. Played the blue tees, 7100 yards, you need every club in your bag to get around this course, and bring your best sand wedge.
Morongo Golf Club at Tukwet Canyon - Champions Course
Played On 12/29/2018Good course
Pace of play was good for a Saturday, frost delay put our tee time back 45 min. Course in good shape. Not a real easy course but fun.
Thank you for the feedback. We are happy to see that you had a 5 star experience. We look forward to having you back!
Arroyo Golf Club
Played On 12/20/2017Wind makes it tough
Played this course for the first time. Bought a GolfNow pre-paid tee time a few days before, weather forecast was 70 and 5 mph winds. On the day we played the forecast was for 25 to 35 mph winds gusting to 50 mph. We had no choice because we pre-paid and GolfNow doesn't allow you to cancel. It was a joke, driver into the wind 100 yards. Course is wide open so you would find your ball when hitting into a crosswind. The course is not real exciting, a lot of the holes look the same, straight and wide open fairway. There is a good number of sand traps including in the middle of the fairways. We had the course mostly to ourselves, it was just a shame it was so windy. GolfNow should allow cancellation on days when winds are that severe. The course is configured funny. The driving range is about a 1/4 mile from the club house, and the 1st tee is about a 1/4 mile from the clubhouse in the opposite direction from the driving range. Range balls were included and driving range was nice. There was no cart girl due to the lack of players on such a windy day.

Played On 03/05/2014Good management makes good golf
Staff was great, starter gave us tips on the course that helped a lot. Pace of play was best we have seen in the Phoenix area. Course was not over loaded with players and Marshall came by a couple times to check to see if things were going good. It was nice to see someone that cared about the golfer after they paid.
Course was in great shape, not a real hard course, the Par 3's can be changeling if you play the tips, some around 250 yards. Wife and I played and she found it a fun course from the rd tee's. Started at 2pm on the GolfNow hot deal and finished at 6pm with plenty of light to spare. Play here if you get a chance.
Wife took a lot of pictures on the course, the views were spectacular.
Ken McDonald Golf Course
Played On 03/05/2014Slow, slow, slow
Played this course a couple times and I like the course. It's pretty easy, open and mostly flat. The problem with this course is management. They don't really care about the quality of your round, they care more about the quantity of people they can jam on the course. After they jam it full of players they could care less how things are going out there. We were behind a 4 some that were looking for their balls on every shot and had the hole course backed up. No marshal on the course. Called the club house and they said things should open up in a bit. They just thought the situation would take care of itself. Took little over 5 hours to finish and this was a Wednesday. There are a lot better places to play you don't need the aggravation here.
Robson Ranch Golf Club
Played On 02/25/2014Great course
Played this course a couple time and enjoyed it. Wife and I played and it's a great course for the wife. Ladies tee's are just right for her to enjoy the course. Not a hard course, just a couple of holes that are changeling. It's about a 45 minute drive south of Phoenix but not a bad drive at all. It's worth the drive.
Oso Creek Golf Course
Played On 12/2/2013Great course
This course is in good shape, greens were nice. It can be a nightmare on the weekends because of the families and beginning golfers on the course. We played on Monday at 10:22 and got through in under 4 hours. If you can hit it straight off the tee you will have a great time here. No need to bring a drive, maybe a 3 wood on a couple holes.
Had a great time
Woods Fort Golf Course
Played On 7/31/2013Course under repair
This is a fun course, right now they are redoing the fairways with new grass so some hole will be closed from time to time. The greens are burning and showing bare spots. They are doing a lot of improvements right now and can't wait to see the finished product. It looks like it will take a year or so for the grass to take hold but should be major improvement . Because of the repairs you can play this course in a little over two hours.
Forest Park Golf Course - Red Bud
Played On 7/11/2013Great course
These are 3, 9 hole courses. Hawthorne is the easy flat first nine. It's a great course for beginners. Hard to lose a ball and not a lot of trouble on this course. Redbud is a bit harder and more hills and trouble. Dogwood is much harder and more fun too. The only problem with these courses is they don't have a starter and singles go out then a 4 some then a single. Some are driving carts and some are walking. The course is slow. There is no Marshall on the course. We were behind six people with 3 carts and only 4 sets of clubs. Someone needs to Marshall this course and hook the singles up and regulate how many people play together. If you have the time it's worth playing.
Grandview Golf Course
Played On 6/26/2013Little bit of everything
Whole visiting family in the area, found this course close by. Fun course with a little bit of everything. Some long par 3's and short par 4's. A course you have to play if you find yourself in York, Pa.
The Links At Dardenne
Played On 5/2/2013SLOW SLOW SLOW
Ok place to play, just slow. They have very bad course management. They just overbook the course and spacing of the 4 somes are very short. The biggest problem is they don't have the right Marshall's on the course to speed up the slow groups. We were behind a 4 some that were new golfers and lost balls on every hole and spent a lot of time looking for them. We mentioned it to the course Marshall 3 times and he never did anything about it. We were never given the option to play through. They just have the wrong Marshall on the course, he just don't understand his job or don't care. I like the course, but if your looking for a nice flowing 4 hour round this is not the place. Our round was 5 hours 40 minutes on a Wednesday.
Arrowood Golf Course
Played On 3/11/2013Nice course
Enjoyed the course, the greens were not in nice shape. I think it was just the time of year more that a maintance problem. The rest of the course was in real nice shape. Not a real hard course but a few hole do present a few problems for you. The par 3's were fun. A few of the holes have slope fronts so long is better that short. All in all a great place to play.
