This place is making a comeback, greens are good, grass on most of the fairways, tee boxes being repaired, new carts. Spring and summer should be great. Thanks Wekiva

The course looks good, the pro shop gentleman was nice, the pace of play was slow and painful. I saw a ranger but apparently this is normal. Other than the starter being a first rate jerk, it was a good( almost great) experience

We were in town for a few days and wanted to get a round of golf in. This course was described as friendly and fun so we gave it a try. We were pleased to find both of these to be true. The course was busy that day but we were able to complete our round in less than four hours, even while in site of the groups ahead and behind us. The course was in good condition and the staff was very helpful and friendly. If I find myself back in Nashville I will be returning.

We had a nice cool morning and the course to ourselves most of the round. The staff and other golfers were friendly, the course was great, challenging but fun.

I want to say this course is bad so I can keep it to myself but can’t because they are nailing it! The course is busy but in great condition. The staff and fellow golfers are nice and courteous. There is beautiful nature surrounding many holes and water strategically placed to make challenging conditions. Not much elevation change but a fun day is guaranteed.

I started my experience by messing up the tee time. The pro shop staff made adjustments and had us golfing without a hitch. The entire team was helpful and courteous. Oh yeah, and the course was in great shape and we enjoyed the whole experience.

as a single player paired up with three friends who played together often, I wasn’t sure what to expect but the gentlemen were as friendly as the course. The round moved at a decent pace and the course was in great shape. I will be back

It was a nice day to play golf. The staff was nice, the course was in good shape, the the pace on time. What more could you ask for

We were greeted by a friendly staff member before we had made it to the pro shop and after checking in, he had our cart set up for us. Just the beginning, the started was engaging and knowledgeable of the set up for the day and sent us on our way. The course is one hat must be thought out before each shot or you find yourself with a tough approach or lay up. Great greens and fairways. The tee boxes are good but have been used, considerably, the price of a good course. We will be back…

This was my first time playing at Savannah country club and I enjoyed it. The course is challenging with a lot of water hazards that create difficult shots, recoveries, when you don’t know the water is there. I look forward to a better second time around this beautiful layout. The pro shop staff and car girl were great. Go check it out

Let me start by saying that this is/was one of my favorite courses to play, that said it is becoming harder and harder to return. Once again we were welcomed by a 20 minute back up waiting for carts. Then after starting late, took 2hrs and 45 minutes to play 9. I was going to accept that as the new normal for Rio but later was notified that I was to pay a cancellation fee for not showing up, a staff issue for not checking me in properly with my reservation. The golf now team has been little to no help in getting this straightened out so far and told me to deal with Rio. Just the beginning for one issue and the end of another as I cannot recommend this place at this time for anything.

After my visit to Rio Pinar Saturday, I regretfully feel I will not be coming back. This has been one of if not my favorite course over the past few years, playing here with family and friends at least once a month (+40 rounds) and recommending it to people I meet as a great course with great amenities and staff. After Saturday, none of this is happening again. We trudged through the first nine in 3-1/2 hours, that right almost 25 minutes per hole. I stepped in the pro shop at the turn and let them know what was going on but was met with inapplicable excuses and the silence. We started hole 10 when the rain came, we were then told it had to rain for 30 minutes before a rain check could be issued. Needless to say, 4 hours for ten holes of golf and rude treatment from the staff and then being ignored when I reached out as a follow up has soured a once proud ambassador of this course to a disappointed naysayer. I will now tell of my final experience there as it has drowned out all others.

Rio Pinar is in good shape, they are set up this year for a beautiful summer of golf. Thrr we only issue today was with the pace of play be and lack of golf edicate. This trip around the always improving track took 5-1/2 hours. We had beginners on the front hitting 10+ shots (x4) per hole, only to be replaced by 4 “gentlemen” dragging the pace down by constant messing around and stalling (30+ minutes for the 18thhole). But the final straw was the group behind us hitting up on us or past us on the last 4 holes, no ranger in site.

This course was once one of the finest in the area, please grow some grass on the fairways and tee boxes. The staff is always friendly and helpful but you are not giving them much to work with. Bring back the wonderful challenging Timicuan we used to love

This place is always well kept and first rate. The staff does a great job from the time you get there til you finish your day. We will be back
