Heritage Oaks Golf Course
Played On 04/18/2014Early Season 3 Weeks After Aeration
Greens still pretty rough 3 weeks after aeration, but with unseasonable cold too, course in pretty good shape. It was a practice round and took son and 4 yr old grandson for his first play on course, which was fun to watch.
Shenvalee Golf Resort - Creek/Miller
Played On 11/2/2013Great Coure with Great Views!
Great course for average golfer with great view of Blue Ridge Mountain. The Ole Course and Creek are the best of the 3 - 9's IMO. Miller seems to have more blind shots. Only one on Ole course is number 3 that you need to stay right with a creek crossing about the average Driver range. Greens were great the last weekend of October. Course overall is very well kept. Grass tee driving range is very nice, but hilly. Moderate difficultly along with great seminary make for great golf.
Ingleside Resort & Country Club
Played On 9/2/2013Rough Hill Course
Practically every shot is up or down hill. Fairways are need significant maintence. Greens were in pretty good shape. Concession cart young lady took off early and no water on course, so take your own. On #3, you tee off over entry road which was wierd.
We played on Labor day for $15 thanks to Golfnow.com, which helped ignore the rough fairways.
Bryce Resort
Played On 9/1/2013Challenging and fun course.
Course and greens were in good condition. Beautiful views with plenty of water hazards and trees. Course was fair except for one par 5 (16?). Some tee box's set right next to each other, but not a problem. Tight course, but fun and interesting. Not to hilly being in the middle of the mountains.
Not to crowded and was labor day weekend.
Driving range is 1/2 mile from clubhouse and first tee, so plan extra time.
