Winston Trails Golf Club
Played On 08/15/2021Enjoyable & Challenging
This is a challenging course. Played the white tees & the par fours felt like they could play as par 5s! Lots of par 4s on this course fyi.
Great place & friendly staff, low key.
The only reason I gave it 4 not 5 stars is I feel the greens could be in better condition. As putting I feel is the best part of my game I rely on courses that have maintained greens.
Otherwise no complaints.
Osprey Point Golf Club - Hawk/Raven Course
Played On 06/26/2021Problems @ A great place
I want to start by saying that this is usually one of my favorites courses and facilities to play at when I can get in. The problem as of late is multi-fold. First off they have to do something about their driving range. Last few times there, the driving range has been incredibly chewed up and it is next to impossible to hit a ball off the ground without bringing up a massive amount of sand/dirt into your face or the guy in the station right next to you or for you to get a face full of sand/dirt from the guy hitting beside you. If they don't plan to work at this then they should purchase mats to hit off of. Second, there was no putting green and no mention that it was under repair prior to getting to the facilities. Thirdly and for some incomprehensible reason, I was charged $54 whereas my playing partner was charged less (I think it was $47 w range balls incl'd) even though I made the reservation on GOLF NOW for both of us. When I asked about this they gave me some bizarre explanation (about booking through GOLF NOW) that ultimately made no sense so I let it go but obviously it's still on my mind. Never saw a ranger which would have been nice considering somehow the group ahead of us had 5 players in their group and behind us some really loud obnoxious group that were completely distracting. Again I am usually not one to complain or even post reviews but this was such a let down of an experience to a facility which is usually such a great day out. At least the staff continue to be friendly but it's going to make me rethink about going there for a while.
Lake Worth Beach Golf Club
Played On 04/04/2021Needs Work on the Greens
First time playing here and although it's a nice locale with decent course architecture, to me, the greens left a lot to be desired. Slow & patchy it looked like a mix of grass types and unfortunately for me that's a deal breaker. When you're trying to putt for dough (not literally) I am looking for courses with well kept greens. That is the only drawback/criticism as otherwise it's an enjoyable locale.
We appreciate you taking the time to review the course and rate us. We are going to pass on your feedback to the teams in charge so they can work to make changes. Thanks for visiting Lake Worth Beach Golf Club. We hope to see you again in the future.

Always enjoy playing this course and it is challenging for I think any level golfer.
I feel its in good condition. When it has rained it does collect a lot or water in areas but regardless I will keep coming back.
Hi Dylan. We appreciate you leaving a review and rating us. We will inform the entire team, so they know their hard work is paying off. We look forward to having you back at Championship at Hollybrook Golf & Tennis Club!
Palms at Palm-Aire Country Club
Played On 10/10/2020By Gone Days
Have to say this course was a disappointment. Clearly in some bygone era it was beautiful but the course conditions were poor with the T boxes all torn up (more dirt than grass) and the golf cart paths with potholes and cracked cement everywhere. It's not a cheap club to play and I definitely expect more from the course conditions for my money considering there are many other courses in the area for less money and in much better condition.

First time and enjoyed it overall. Good course to hone your short game. Course conditions ok some greens could definitely use some TLC. Beware that although there is putting and chipping green there is no driving range! Definitely will play it again. Staff were friendly and the atmosphere felt relaxed.

Like alot of Southern Florida Golf Clubs/courses these days this one is not kept in the best condition unfortunately. However it is a challenging course and you can tell in its day it was a great course. The staff is great though. The two times we've played it its been busy. It's so challenging that the golfers in front of you will most likely slow pace down trying to search their balls from hole to hole lol.
I do enjoy playing here despite the grounds less than excellent conditions.

Honestly I was disappointed with the overall experience. Course Conditions were fair at best and the Tee boxes left a lot to be desired. Starter wasn't welcoming either. Got there early, sign said dont check in until 15minutes prior to your T time and the starter said something to that effect so I never was able to get on the driving range or putting green before the round due to his misinformation. Meanwhile my golf buddy got there just like I did but separate from me and he somehow managed to get on the driving range for an hour before our round.
Not worth the price considering other courses in the area are in much better condition, have friendlier staff and not as expensive.
Don't bother.

I had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed the layout and challenge of this course. It was a nice change not to have to battle water hazards on every hole and still have the course be tough to master. No complaints whatsoever. I'll definitely be back to play it.

Dylan,
We appreciate your honesty and feedback. Our driving range experienced a huge uptick in usage this year due to golf's popularity during the pandemic and we can assure you that we are not only working as hard as we can on the grass tee, but we are also considering a mat option as well. As for nnot being charged the same as your playing partner, we'd like to learn a little more about that. If you would, please send us an email to Golf@pbcgov.org with your name, the date you played and the time of the reservation. We would be happy to look into this and circle back with you. We hope you will return for another round soon, and that the golf course will "wow" you during that visit. Until then, keep 'em in the short stuff.
