Bought a real cheap hot deal for a beautiful Saturday midday round. Looking back, I would’ve paid twice as much. Greens were in great condition, pretty fast and rolled true. Not too soggy even after tons of rain recently. Just generally more lush than expected for this time of year. Looking forward to going back.

I’ve played the Deltona Club a few times a year for the past several years. Coming out of Deltona, this course is a gem. The layout contains much more elevation than average in Volusia, and a healthy mix of shorter and longer holes. The course conditions are usually on par with the rates, but occasionally you’ll be surprised in a good or bad way. A couple days ago, the greens were surprisingly smooth and fast. Personally, I don’t mind a few sparse spots around the tees and fairways. At the $20 afternoon rate and not too many folks out on the course I had a great solo round. Great local option if it’s rained a lot recently, too.
