Cross Creek Country Club
Played On 03/15/2024Rainchecks
Thought we would go with another couple to play. The girls decided they were not up for 18 and played 9. The pace of play was painfully slow. Over 2 hours for 9 holes. The another couples husband tweet his back and only wanted to play 9. So we went to the pro shop to ask if rain checks could be issued. We were told no for the girls and myself. But a 9 hole pass could be issued for the back injury. And if I wanted to take it further I would have to talk to the club pro. Which of course he wasn’t there. So in hindsight I guess I would ask what their policy is. And that will be the last time for myself for playing there.
Tiburón Golf Club - The Gold Course
Played On 02/28/2020First time
From my first impressions. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Course is in good shape,. Sand traps excellent, fairways all so excellent, greens would be the only thing I would give a minus too. Hard and couldn’t get any in coming shots to stop. Pitch and run Shots were hard to judge. Make sure you left putts on the bottom side of the hole.
Lely Resort Golf & Country Club - Flamingo Island Course
Played On 02/22/2020Not a $149.00 courses
In my idea of a golf course. This is not a $149.00 course. Greens rock hard. I had one green that left a ball mark. Sand traps are poor at best. Rock hard underneath about a 1/2” of loose sand. I consider myself a fairly good bunker player. But had balls just jump out of the bunkers. I know I wouldn’t pay that price again. But it Is supply and demand. And they were busy. Peak season to play. I would expect more for the price. I have some $50.00 courses back home that would put this to shame.
