Now I remember why I don’t go to this course. It was a great deal so cannot complain too much. Driving range was ok. You have to climb this huge hill, no bag stands, but the grass was good. I do not like the layout of the course. Many blind shots. Biggest complaints: anything off the fairway just ate your ball. Not high rough but high weeds. Spent a lot of time looking for balls that were just off fairway but buried. Greens bad conditions on most. If there was grass they were the slowest greens I have ever played! Had to smash the ball just to get it to the hole. One was a temporary green. People were very nice but long drive for me and too many nicer options for me closer to home.

A beautiful day and a great course. Have had some very long rounds there on a few weekends. Played on a Monday and what a difference.

Great course. I like playing here because it is fairly close to me, the rates are great and it is usually in good shape. They will be shutting it down soon in order to redo the course. Not sure how long it will be closed.

Greens are in the best shape I have ever seen them in. There was a bit of a back up but a beautiful day so it was ok.

Played here again. Course has always been in very good condition. We played another course near by the day before and it was soggy and cart path only. This course had handled the rain well. It was 90 degree rule but didn’t notice any soggy spots on the fairways. The course is very tight! Trees line the fairways. The fact that the wind, at times, would push our cart backwards it facing into the wind didn’t make it any easier. Overall, a fun day.

We arrived and were greeted by super friendly staff. Nice warmup areas. The course was challenging and the greens were in amazing shape. Pace of place was great. The only two negatives I had were the driving range has no grass to hit off of as did some of the tee boxes and $14 for a hotdog, chips and a power aide. All in all it was a great day of golf.

Greens were in great shape. Great facilities and great pace of play. Other than freezing all day it was a good day!

New greens are great! Very hard, not easy to stop the ball so land short and it will run.

Magnolia point has become my “go to course”. My playing buddy and I enjoy playing different courses but can always depend on a solid round a Magnolia is just feeling the need of normality. It’s a little of a drive for us from World Golf Village, about 20-25 minutes away. Yesterday, however, the pace of play was very slow. The course was booked and the other twosome that we were to be paired with never showed. We were a twosome behind rows of foursomes. We waited on every hole. Our tee time was 1:45 and we couldn’t play the last 3 holes due to darkness. We will be back for sure but yesterday was a bit of a disappointment.

I hadn’t played here in a very long time. It was about a 30 minute drive. There is a go cart track close by so all we heard all day was the go carts running and the announcer. There was a tournament ahead of us and one behind us. I have never seen so many people on a golf course. At one point on the back nine we passed one of the holes behind us and there must have been 9 carts waiting on one tee box.
The course was ok. Some greens were in bad shape but most were ok. Looked like they had seeded. Very slow. We will try again at some point.

The weather was beautiful and the course was in wonderful shape. We had a great day.

I had been telling my friend we need to play this course. I had played once before so this was his first experience. We made an afternoon tee time for 1:22. It was finally a beautiful day. We arrive to find out there is a large tournament going off at 1:00! Tons of people around, driving range was packed. We were a twosome stuck behind a foursome, playing captains choice, who were not very good. Normally I wouldn’t care but when we were told we couldn’t play through the tournament and had to wait on every shot it was very painful. IT WAS A 3 HOUR FRONT NINE! We finally said “screw it” and passed them on the back nine and had a great time with no one in front or behind us. Finished the back nine in 1 1/2 hours. The group we passed got called in or quit I guess because they came rolling by us on 18 never finishing their round. We will try again but will make sure no tournaments ahead of time. I think we should have been told.

I play here regularly. It’s a great course, staff is friendly, and great amenities. Greens could be better. They have some bad spots and seem very slow. Also wish the cart girl could swipe a card. To use a card she has to take it to the clubhouse and you pick it up there. No thank you and I rarely have cash.

This course is always in great condition! Great layout.

The course was ok. We teed off early (twosome), first off the tees I think. Greens were good fairways ok, some pretty tight. Nice layout. My two negatives, we felt pushed by the twosome behind us. They hit up on us a few times. We were not slow 2hr 49 min. but there was not wait in these guys. Second was the drive. I live in St Augustine so about a 45 minute drive. Not horrible but too many courses just as nice or better closer to me.

Haven’t played here in a while but I temerity being slow and sure enough, it was slow still. Greens were either really food or really bad. Even had one temporary green.
