Sorry folks, but this course felt like a muni. Fairways and greens were good considering they get a lot of play.
Examine the course layout before playing as water is not always visible.

Another Golf Now fooler. It’s a muni inPhoenix.. It shows of much play especially around the greens where carts seem to get as close as they can to the greens if there are no curbs. Cart paths are random and there are no markers for keeping them on track. One hole should have been marked under repair and hole relocated. Hole was right in repair area. Glad I played with guys who play there to know the layout.

I thought I’d be playing at the Ranch! Not so. There’s 3 courses in Wburg so chose wisely. Granted it’s target golf but some holes are a long way apart and better an ATV or ORV to get there on. Also, just riding the tide of high priced golf in AZ

So busy you had to wait a turn at the range. But starter grouped 3 singles to avoid being in one or several wedding party groups. We appreciated that and had an enjoyable round. Greens were in very good condition.

Course in great condition but you’ll play from untended bunkers as is the case most everywhere. I think it’s a bit harder than it’s rating but mostly because of fast and sloped greens. Cart service frequent and friendly as are the staff. Great practice areas too.

How often do we rate a Ranger with complements? I do at Big Cypress South. It was subtle but knowing I was new to the course, he guided me beforehand and got me slotted so that I played in well under 4 hours. The community is also a friendly one but I’m sure they run their entire operation very efficiently. On the golf side, the zoysia greens were notable compared to others I’ve played at premier prices. Plenty of water hazards too.

The course runs through an established residential area but still is quite wide. First timers might hit a few drives through fairways into water. Upkeep was fair but there were multiple groundskeepers at work. Too far to travel for this course but price is low in comparison.

I was lucky to find a tee time that worked for me. The course seems to be surrounded by development in the last few years. There is plenty of sand and some of the bunkers lack upkeep so players likewise don’t tidy up as they leave. Ranges and practice facilities are great.

Nice surprise but I think this course is harder than it’s rated. Many forced carry’s and hazards. Fairways were “thin” so you need to make perfect contact.

Arrowood is one of my So Cal favorites and it came through again. Better fairways, rough and bunkers than I’ve seen recently. The upkeep and maintenance is evident. Even though greens were aerated and sanded we were advised of this beforehand.
