I’ve played talega many times and normally enjoy it. Today was a different experience. The greens are in bad shape and no one at the course disclosed that. Also 18th green is a temporary that they set up by drawing a circle around a hole in the farway. There was no cart service on the course so we made a stop at the turn to grab some food around 3pm. The snack bar was closed so we went into the grill/bar and we re told they didn’t have any food. Pretty disappointing when you are planning on eating a late lunch. I could understand if it was around 5 or so but 3pm on a Sunday? Hopefully they wake up and change some things around there or they will have lost several loyal customers.

Fun course, but slow. 12:15 tee time and didn't tee off until 12:45. 30 mins to get a sandwich and 20 mins for a credit card to be processed. Didn't finish until 6:30. Make sure you don't have anywhere to be if you are going to play here.
