nice place but bad greens...

When every other course in the region has greens in good shape, these were slow and bumpy, without exception. Golf-Now should lower prices there until their greens get better.

Course in very good condition - but staff needs etiquette training

For this time of year, Loch March is probably the course in the best shape in the Ottawa region.
We were a twosome playing from their gold tees at a fairly quiet tee time (1pm) there and while we were each teeing off, staff were either zooming around in carts or making loud noise with one another with no regard whatsoever for us. The same noise and disturbance took place when we were trying to tee off on the 10th, again in the same area. At a minimum, they should look up, be more aware of the players and wait a few seconds before moving their carts or shouting at one another, which would make our visit more pleasant and perhaps have us come back again and recommend Loch March to many others. The golf course business in the region needs to raise its game in customer service!

temporarily under par

The aeration process of the fairways have turned the course into a sandy lot and the greens were not yet back in shape from a similar process 2 weeks before, we presume. The course was jam-packed and it was very slow. The Starter duo were disorganized and there was one helpless marshall watching the bumper-to-bumper scene. 5 hour round

Bumber-to-bumber golf -- don't waste your time there!

The starter can't keep people on schedule, we were 10-15 min late starting off, then they send groups back-to-back with no space on a demanding hole # 1 par 4 (handicap 1) that plays more like a par 5 for seniors, and you can imagine the rest...a front nine that takes over 2.5 hours. We abondoned after the front 9 since it took 40 min from dowtown Ottawa to reach the course. The greens were so-so and the fairways and tee-boxes are not well maintained. Even the GolfNow discount could not not make up for these shortcomings. We have now faced the same scenario twice in a few weeks, once in the morning and this time in the afternoon. I know they're trying to make up for a difficult season but this way of conducting their business will jeopordize any repeat business potential.
