Great track, needs lots of TLC

Saw most recent reviews and decided to play anyway. The course is challenging, nice layout. Greens were punched recently, thus slow, but recovering. Fairways weren’t in the greatest shape, burned patches and soggy, this is where the course needs attention. Bunkers were racked and pretty good. Rough was thick and deep. Looks like they are working on the tee boxes too. A rate in the low $40 range will not disappoint. There are better tracks around this area if you are paying more than $50 w/cart.

Looking good for the season

Always have a good time at Whitetail. The course suffers when too much rain, but recovers quickly. Pace of play can be a challenge if there are many high handicap players, but they were nice enough to allow others to play through.

Greens were slow, but consistent, every player needs to take time to fix divots. Hope course maintenance keeps the bunkers and greens in top shape. Looking forward to come back for a few more rounds; this course is quiet, open and challenging enough. The back nine requires smart course management.

Great layout, great round

Selected the course because of a great 'twilight' rate, single player got paired up, following a foursome. The course layout is great, played from the green tees which was challenging enough. Not many birdie opportunities from the back, although the course will reward well placed, accurate shots. We did ran into a bottle neck on the first par 3 and didn't see a ranger to keep the pace, but did finish the 18 holes in 4:20 (right at sunset), because a foursome quit after the 16th hole.

The fairways, bunkers (only visited one...) and greens were in great shape. Greens were fast, but not impossible to play, although pin placement (#3) was pretty forgiving. I will play this course again when visiting the Orlando area. Club house was pretty nice, great staff, although in the afternoon they tend to be short on carts. Driving, chiping and putting range are pretty awesome.
