East at Park Hills Golf Club
Played On 06/23/2015Geat Course for all
This is a park district course. The tees, greens, fairways and sand traps are all very well maintained. They do put too much water on it though. There are 2 18 hole courses so, there is almost always a course that is wide open. If you are ordering food, allow plenty of time prior to your tee time as the service can be a little slow. Great menu with great prices! Beer sold in clubhouse but no beverage cart service.
St. Andrews Golf & Country Club - Joe Jemsek Course
Played On 05/02/2015Great day, average course
This is a nice golf course to enjoy a nice day. The holes are mostly straight away and the fairways are wide. There are enough tee boxes to play whatever length is comfortable. Some of the sand traps are mostly dirt that has been milled up with some sand. There are course rangers that do keep play moving and will assist in letting faster groups play through slower groups. There was a beverage cart but, I would suggest that they let the starter know if it is out (we asked and he didn't know). Also, the starter could have let us know that there was a beverage/food house located behind the 1st green!! All in all nice day with good friends on a nice day. Course rating - 2 1/2 Stars
