Where’s the beef?

Loved the course but couldn’t get even a hot dog at the turn. Came thru about 215pm and no food at the turn. McCormick could do better than that. Bev cart didn’t even have a sandwich. Cmon man!!!

Excellent course value

Whenever I can get a well priced tee time at the Biltmore Links course it goes to the top of my list. I especially like the links course because of the character of the course. It is comfortably long for my 64 year old game, and it enables me to use all of my clubs. I especially like the greens. They are fair and reward you for reaching them with putts that very rarely bounce off line. The greens are always smooth and consistent. This course is a treat to play.

This course is overrated and overpriced!

I played Talking Stick South with great anticipation, but was sorely disappointed with my outing. The sole reason for my disappointment was the construction and condition of the greens. Approach shots that hit the greens would not even hold from a short distance. Furthermore, putts would not hold their lines, hitting many bumps and subtle dips. The greens are the poorest I have played in the valley this season. I played well, but still would not recommend this course. The course layout is special. But the greens should be bulldozed and totally rebuilt to enable a more enjoyable experience.

Dependable course with lush fairways

OT is a go to course for me when looking for a fairly priced round with above average conditions. The fairways nearly always have plenty of lush grass, unlike some other area courses. This course is not difficult, but does have trouble for errant shots right and left. It has the old Phoenix style of golf with flat fairways, elevated greens with bunkers short right and left, and just the right amount of trees and water. I can usually find reasonable green fees, mostly on Golfnow, and finish in about 4 hours. I would recommend OT for a good time on the lengths,as it is not super challenging.
