Dye Sr. & Jr. layout a real pleasure to play. Course very well groomed, greens fast & true. As is always the objective, keep the ball on the short grass, as the ball settles down in the rough and provides unwanted challenges!

I got out late (5:30 PM) with a short booking from Golf Now at greatly reduced price ($29) and sped around the back 9 to get 18 holes in as darkness overtook. The course is worth 3 times the price I paid, save the rush.

Bay Course was very wet from heavy 2 day rain. Cart path only so walked & carried in drizzling rain enhancing the overall experience. Greens in great rolling condition for this time of year .although course does not drain real well. Some greens were puddled around the hole. Wind off the Bay can make for extra club selection. Clubhouse and bar are charming with warm feeling of well aged elegance. Pro and staff are very friendly and accommodating. No matter the season or conditions I love playing this 1914 gem.

The course layout provided some tight fairways, water hazards and fairway bunkers within striking distance. While this called for some accuracy off the tee it was not unfair for golfers of any level. Longer hitters would have no difficulty. Several greens were well guarded with front bunkers but the sand was very playable. The greens were in exceptional shape and very fast. The ball rolled true and several long putts were made during the round by all players in our group. First time visitors, pay close attention to the GPS screen for hazards and yardage as you should anywhere. The Island green can be deceiving if your approach is longer than you desired. I would definitely recommend this course and will look forward to playing it again when I return to the West Palm Beach area.
