Greens are so quick its extremely hard to putt. We even came within 6" as the ball "slowly" rolled around the back of the cup and continued rolling for another 10 to 12 feet. It happened on 3 greens. Practice putting on the green prior to teeing off. Enjoyed the course.

This was suppose to be our highlight course for the 6 days of golf in HH. Unfortunately, play was so slow it took us out of our game. 5 hours & 20 min. Ranger made several passes but how do you really speed up slow play. It was our worst round on a very windy day. Greens very fast, course in good shape. Disappointing day! Darrell

This is our "go to" course every year. Good breakfast, nice driving range & chipping/putting area. Greens were very slow, 1st cut around greens spongy & high. Sand in bunkers ample and par 3's reachable for seniors like me. We schedule Old South every year, enjoyed. DEH

We always start on this course and finish 6 rounds later on the last day of our stay. Great driving range with chipping and putting. Best breakfast around to begin your morning.
We do have a great breakfast and lunch in our restaurant! We're glad you enjoyed your day and appreciate the 5-star review. Be sure to keep Old South on your list of "must play" courses.

Beautiful course. Lots of left doglegs. If I could draw a ball I could have taken off 5 strokes. It was my 1st time playing so I know what to expect in my next round. Enjoyed!
Pleasant Valley Country Club
Played On 10/11/2014The course has a good layout and the front is fairly open. The back fairways narrow and a bad tee shot will cost you.
I really enjoy this course but I can't get my friends to commit. No 1 reason is simply no ice machine to bag up a couple of beers. I had our season outing here and it was a hot summer day. No ice, no bags to ice down a few beers! That did it for our group and future play. Easy fix!!!
