Beau Rivage Golf & Resort
Played On 09/21/2019We have played at Beau Rivage a several times since we moved here 11 years ago. Less and less because it is just not a good experience anymore. My family came in to play from KC, MO and we wanted to have a nice day at a decent golf course.
We easily spent $200 for green fees that are too high for the shape of the course right now and a few beers before we teed off. We don't mind that if it is worth it but the course was just OK and when there was no one around us while we were playing we were told to speed up play. So someone in the clubhouse is looking at a computer deciding how fast people are playing when they have no clue about what is going on regarding play on the course?
I tried this course one more time after being accused of going too slow when we weren't a few years ago but I just cannot go back or recommend the course.
I don't get your philosophy regarding golf. Manners are key...not speed.
Too expensive for a very frustrating round of golf.
BTW, one of my friends was the #1 womens collegiate golfer back in the day and consistently shoots in the low 80's. We were told about 5 years ago that we were going too slow and she didn't like that and hasn't been back. If you want to be private or men only, good luck.
