I have played this course 5 or 6 times over the years. At 240 bucks it prices people out. A golf Now hot deal cut the price almost in half. Fantastic condition! The range and range balls were outstanding also. First rate!

Got lucky on Golf now back in December. Caught a hot deal for 125 bucks. The usual price is twice that. Place was in impeccable shape. Practice range was first rate. Staff was friendly. Got paired with Nick and Karen from Michigan who were delightful company. Great day!

The course was in great shape.The people were great. I have been playing for 56 years and NEVER have I played a round when on every tee there were 2 or 3 groups! EVERY hole! Paid less than 100 bucks whereas at Mystic Dunes Ipaid 132 bucks and grass was a rumor on the fairways! Get people moving Champions gate!You have a beautiful course! 5 plus hours is not gonna work!

Paid 130 bucks for a course that you would have to think twice about paying 60 bucks. Very little grass in the fairways. You could hit a putter from 150 yards. Greens were good…a little goofy with the severe undulations. Your money could be much better spent someplace else.

As most people know playing this course after having heavy rain the day before is not a great idea. They let the carts out but there were puddles everywhere. Greens were in very good shape, and the fairways that weren’t under water were fine. People are always nice there. Was a fun day!

Greens were great. Fairways were suffering in spots due to all the heavy rain. The 13th hole is by the driving range. There had to be 50 range balls in the 13th fairway. Only time till someone gets kinked. Do not play a yellow ball at 13!

Course was in good shape but 75 bucks to play 12 holes in 3.5 hours is just no fun.Waited on every shot. No rangers doing anything. My group played the back tees and could barely reach the fairways. Having 300 yards to go on a par 4 on your second shot can’t be fun. Overpriced. Would only go back if other courses are aerating.

Had a 8:40 tee time but it was raining. The weather app said it would be clearing by 10:15 and the man inside accommodated us. Killed time at the Lindenhurst diner a mile away. After the rain there were some wet spots that look like they never drain well. Fairways and greens were good. Burned to a crisp where irrigation does not reach. The biggest negative was the thousands of geese….fertilizing the fairways. I nailed one with a drive and he went scampering away. I had a walkoff with a chip in at the last hole.

Very nice layout but the greens were the star. Very,very quick and they rolled great. I played because I read how quick the rounds were, and we were teeing off 3.5 hours before sunset. Teed off late because they ran out of carts. People got refunds because of the backup. Got 14 holes in. How can you not have enough carts?

Hadn’t played this course in years. It was a very high end course 20 years ago. The greens were tremendous. Fast,sloppy, very challenging. The fairways were fine, but not special as I remembered. Pace of play really slowed down as the day went on. Fine layout. If you can get a hot deal it is well worth it.

Was in town for the Northern Trust, and decided to give this another try. Was kinda wet but there wasn’t a hint of sand in the bunkers. The greens were the sloooooooooowest in my 53 years of playing.. I commented on a couple of putts that by using the putter I did not have enough club. Non resident fee of 75 bucks could have been used better…elsewhere!

Nice mix of holes.As people have said drainage seems to be a problem. Lots of roped off areas. Contrary to many reviews the people in the pro shop were great. The starter was a great lady, who took command of the first tee. Full kudos too her for walking around in 90 plus degrees and huuuuumid. Played in Less than 4 hours with a7:50 tee time. Shot 35 on the back nine so I was happy! With 3 birdies.

Great shape, nice diversity of holes. Pace was very good early on but waned on the back. Still played in four and a half hours.. Fun day!

Place is in great shape. Good par 3’s 4’s and 5’s.. The only downside is I do not think I have ever seen a starter. Every time I have played here the cart has died after 15 holes. They said the carts are old! When you call the problem in they say they will be out with another cart. They never do.

Got paired with 3 great people and in 2 holes we were fast friends. Course was in great shape, the pace of play was not good but the conversation made us pass the time. The hard working gal in the windmill restaurant was terrific. The burger was great!

Played the international course today due too a 58 dollar hot deal from golf now. Playe the national course last week and the international was a much sterner test. A links style course in the middle of Orlando but you did get the feeling that you were playing a true links. The 20 mph wind blowing in the open spaces added to the links feel. The speed of the greens were very quick and quite challenging. The course was in great shape and had a mix of high grass and tight lie chipping area. The pro in the pro shop was a very nice welcoming person. He made you feel right at home. The young lady in the bar was very nice also. Covid 19 was on there minds also. Sanitizing the carts, gloves et all. Just were serving hot dogs because of the virus, but I ate there a couple of weeks ago and the burger was great. Bottom line is, if you want a stern taste try the intl. Bring patience.

Playing golf, when my friends in ny are hunkered down with the threat of corona virus I feel guilty about how wonderful the experience was. The courses down here are all taking precautions and you feel completely safe. The course is a marvelous mix of holes and with a great variety.of holes. We are at the end of March and they have had ..02 inches of rain all month. It has been unseasonably warm and sunny, and the crews have done a great job in keeping the place in great shape. Played by myself in 2.5 hours. I gave a 3 to off course amenities because there are no off course amenities anywhere. They did have nice woman with a umbrella who was barbecuing hamburgers, and it was great. Also had a snack bar that people seemed to like. With the lack of golfers the price was 42 dollars total. A fantastic price. P.s. I ate in the restaurant 2 plus weeks ago and it was very good.

Everything about Shingle creek was great except the pace of play. The day before I played Waldorf Astoria by myself in 2 hours and 20 minutes.after 2 hours and twenty minutes at Shingle Creek we were putting on 7! It turned into a 5 hour and 15 minute slog. We called the pro shop and they sent a ranger out who told us there were no gaps. What does that tell you? The 9 minute spread in tee times should be 10 or 12 minutes. The thought that the more people out there creates more revenue for the course is misplaced. I liked everything about the place, but I have no interest in playing rounds in 5 plus hours. Raise the prices but if you can’t provide a good experience then forget about it. I will not be back-

Had a 9:32 tee time and got paired up with 2 nice guys. We got around in 3.5 hours and never waited on a shot all day. Greens fully back from aeration and were in fabulous shape. Fairways also were in good shape also but there were some puddles in marked off areas. The guys at the course blamed a leak underground. Bunkers were in great shape also and each was raked nicely. The people were all friendly from the guys in the trailer to Lou the starter. Fun day for sure.

Played as a single and was paired with 3 nice guys. Played in 4 hours, and as always drainage is a problem. The fairways were fine and the greens are bouncing back from mild aeration. Can people please repair ball marks! I get a kick about people who have never repaired a ball mark and then complain about the greens being bad because of too many ball marks! Lou, the starter was great, and the guys at the cart barn kept my epic flash driver headcover that I lost last week, in there bin. Thanks guys, and many thanks to the person who turned it in!
