Course was Cart Path Only and it wasn't from rain. They obviously dont know when to turn off the sprinklers. Self flooded course. Greens are top notch but tee boxes and fairways are very spotty and that might be a bit gracious. Layout is what you would expect and hope for from a TPC Course but the conditions are not even close to what you should expect on a tract like this. You can get better for the same price elsewhere.

Been here twice in last 2.months. Absolutely love this course. Fun layout, great conditions and greens are incredible. Starters do an awesome job to get you out on time and even move you around if needed to get your round in quicker. Rates are better than most for a course of this caliber. Will be back soon!!

Very wet conditions as expected with amount of rain lately. This place does not drain at all and wet would be an understatement. Swamp is what this was and since the staff here know it does not drain they could at least give an honest heads up before taking your money. Maintenance workers keep cutting grass with their mowers while you are hitting. I'm not exaggerating when I say they are cutting within 30 feet of you and dont even blink that you are there. Green aeration advisory on door when you walk up, no advisory over phone when making tee time. Spend $20 more and play elsewhere.

Played here today as this was one of the only courses in the area letting golfers off the cart path. Course is in great shape. Greens are really good considering the beating these courses took from the ice in March. We were very happy with everything this facility offered from the range w/ free range balls and the chipping areas. Practice green was very comparable to course green conditions. Lots of awesome sights to see on this course. If there is a negative it would be ranger not pushing slow groups to pick it up but we still had a great round. Thumbs up Grande Dunes.

First time to play this course. Our foursome goes into clubhouse and pays $40 each with cart. After paying the employee at the counter tells us that the course is cart path only. Should have disclosed that up front on a day with temps in the 90's.(not sure why this would be since it has not rained recently). We found out quickly why cart path only. They have the course practically flooded with water evidently due to the heat. Most all of the sandtraps were half full of water (no rain recently), approaches so wet when you stepped water squished out. Balls would hit the greens and plug. I realize weather has been hot lately but courses down south don't even play this wet. Crabgrass on every tee box and most fairways. We liked the course and its layout however the conditions were absolutely terrible for no reason other than course mis-management. We will not be back here. Not worth $40 at all.
