I haven't played here in two years but found that it was in excellent shape in every aspect. Played with three twenty-somethings and had a great time. Played the black tees for the first time and was surprised and pleased with my score. The blind tee holes are really challenging.

Generally play Wild Marsh a couple times a summer and this was the first for 2018. Course was in good shape and had a really good time.

Played the Quarry for the first time and had a lot of fun. Interesting layout along and inside the old quarry. Elevation changes, good fairways, greens and tees. Narrow landing areas are a challenge on many hole. Many holes are layup holes or you'll get into trouble.

My first round here this winter and the course is in very good shape. Quick check-in and starter paired me up with a couple of other singles for a threesome. We waited a bit on many holes with two foursomes ahead of us but that's to be expected. 18 in 4 hours.

I always enjoy this course and this year it is not as wet as previous years. Greens were slow and need a shorter cut. A couple of tee boxes still need redone. But overall a pleasant day with some new friends.

I heard it was one of the better courses in the area and felt it was OK. Glad I played it but won't rush back unless it's a cheap fee or hear conditions are better. First problem was 1 pm tee time was backed up 30 minutes and play was slow - 2 1/2 hrs front and 2 hrs back. Course conditions are decent but many unlevel tee boxes and bumpy greens, fairways are OK. Many really challenging and picturesque holes with nice water hazards. Great differences between tees - green, silver, gold and black.

I played El Rio for the first time with three men from Green Valley. Overall, course was average for winter AZ conditions. Fairways are brown and not much to hit off. Tees and greens are green and pretty good. Nice old course with mature trees. Pace was good, finished in 3.5 hours, four players, two carts.

In my opinion an average city course with several well designed and challenging holes. Several very narrow fairways to avoid unplayable desert rough. Greens and tees fairly green but fairways not. But it is the middle of winter.

As a single, they paired me up with a two-some and we had a great time. There are many challenging holes due to water, mature trees and hole layouts. I'll play again through GolfNow.

Nice course for the money. Fairly easy but in good condition for a winter, desert course.
