Riviera Cancun Golf & Resorts
Played On 12/31/2014A Great Course
Well I enjoyed playing this course and made a hot deal on Golf Now. It was well worth the money and the travel to the course which is located near the Ocean and Cancun Airport. The price included return transportation from Cancun Hotel Zone, breakfast which was delicious omelet's, toast and fruit plus free drinks alcoholic or non alcoholic for the entire 18 holes. Happy hour !!!!
I shot a 79 here playing from scratch and the blue tees on my first round and thought the course was a little short. Very narrow fairways but the course was in excellent shape. The fairways were a little too wet and my ball plugged in on 2 muddy soft fairways. Too much with the sprinklers. Each par 3 was interesting but not difficult to get near the pin. Careful if you go full power with your drives off the tee as for sure you will end up jungle or water. I played mine conservatively and 200 to 250 seemed about the right distance for keeping them straight and in great order for the second shots. Greens were super for putting and some a little undulating. Jack did a fine job here for sure. The only downside is no accommodations ! Hopefully will be fixed soon as I could have stayed for at least 4 days. A great course for sure, everyone that loves golf should try this course. Well worth the travel. Enjoy !!!
