A lot of disparity on the greens. Diseased and hard to putt through. As the course heals, go with the expectation of having a good time with company.

I was pretty bummed that this course had pretty tough greens. Not like they were difficult but that majority of greens did not have grass on them. It was like mud and diseased grass. 40% of your shots come from putting and when the greens had grass on them they rolled nicely. Hope they solve this issue in the upcoming months.

It took too long for the burrito to be made I was late to the starter.

Upon arrival the customer facing staff were friendly. On the first tee box had 3 grounds crew near and sprinklers on hitting me while I was setting up since the moved the tee boxes up. Also, until I said something they moved from left center of me. With the amount of grounds crew that I saw in my 3.5 hours the course was extremely beat up. Not a healthy course condition. I’ve played it his course in February and I don’t remember it being so bad. With the amount of locals that play here I’m surprised that there isn’t more pride in the course conditions.

Great layout, hit with confidence and you will be rewarded if it’s straight. Some real narrow fairways. A lot of hard pan dirt around fairways.

First time playing this course and I’m glad I spent my 40th Birthday at Poipu Bay. Absolutely majestic!! Take moments throughout the round and look beyond the course, the layout demands it with its majestic mountain backdrops and lined ocean views. Be sure to sharpen your bunker skills for they are everywhere and mis hits can and will get you chasing par. Drive well and you can set yourself up real nice. Jaime, Kurt, and Miss Nellie really made the experience complete with their service and genuine kindness. Mahalo to all I connected with that day.

Actually played this course twice while I was staying at the Marriott next to the course. Back 9 is beautiful with oceanic views and beautiful signature holes like 16. High risk, high reward shot for an easy birdie. Practice your knock down shots because there’s a lot of wind you face on this course.

This course is great for locals, only set back is that some people play 5 players on this course and it's not that big, so it can get backed up pretty fast with 5 players.

The course layout was really great, had a lot of slopes to test your skill, however the fairways were sadly dry. California being in a devastating drought i can understand why so dry, and why a lot of people wouldn't want to play there. They completely closed down the other course, it was sad to drive up to dry fairways.
