I play this course every Fall when out here visiting family. Rates are very reasonable.
They have Senior tees which I now prefer.
Practice green matched the speed of on course greens—and they are fast! But great, true and well maintained.
Took a few holes to get adjusted to their speed.
Played mid morning on a Tuesday and pace of play was fine. Finished I just under 4 hours.
Most fairways wide enough. Fairways in decent shape.
I recommend this course and will play it again.

Well worth playing. My first time here. As a single, I was placed with 3 middle aged brothers-an added bonus.
For an area that is in drought mode and no rain in all of February, the course was in very good condition.
Greens rolled true. Play to the proper side of the many doglegs or else second shots can be blocked out your approach to the green. A good challenge of golf.

I feel I received a very good greens fee on GolfNow.

Fairways were a little thin in spots. More water would be a help I’m sure.
Ranger Hank was fine. Our 3-some teed off about 10 minutes behind our 12:40 t-time.

I have come to realize that a round of golf can good or bad depending the weather and who you play with. With that said, even with a frost delay, t/times were caught up by my 11:40 start time. The weather continued to get better as the day went on. Kudos to the staff and starter for keeping golfers rolling. As a single I was paired with 2 great guys, Devin and Jim. We got along fine and they included me in their friendly banter.
The course has fairly nice green narrow fairways and really hardpack dirt rough. So, keep it in the fairways.
The greens true but a little slow.
Pace of play was slightly slow—probably due to frost delay. Our round took about 4 1/2 hours

My title can be true of any golf course for any golfer. Very tight lies off the fairways into the brown winter grass.
I was paired up with a club member, an 80+ year old named Jerry. There was supposeI to be 2 other members in our group, but they cancelled because it was a little windy to start. I enjoyed Jerry's company and he helped me reading the greens and with direction on tee shots. Fairways and greens were in excellent shape.

The only problem our 2 some encountered was at check in at 0730. The nice lady at the front desk said that Golf Now had double booked them-again.
Something is wrong with the interface between your scheduling and their scheduling.
The starter got us out just fine and we were off and running. An ok course for a great price.

I try to play this course every time I snowbird to the Peoria area.
This year there seemed to be quite a difference in the condition of the two nines. To me the back 9 seemed to be in much better condition from tee to green than the front 9.
Overall I like the diversity of the layout. Watch your approach shots. There are lots of humps, bumps, and undulations around the greens.
The condition of the fairways were above average--even though my drives didn't find them very often.

As I drove through the Coyote Lakes housing community, I had several looks at the golf course. It looked much greener than I remember from 4 years ago.
Through GolfNow I was playing an afternoon special at a good price. Check in went smooth. All the carts had a nice GPS system. The course didn't seem overly busy at 3pm. The 2 young guys I was booked with desired to play as a 2some. I went out as a single.
The fairways were nice and green. Most fairways were sloped on one side or the other making you think of where you want to aim your tee shot.

There seemed to be quite a few 2 somes out there and a few singles--so as a single, I couldn't complain Things seemed to back up somewhat on par 3s. Nothing new if you if you play a lot of golf.

Nice staff at check in. They were on schedule. Range balls and golf cart come with greens fee. I was paired up with a nice couple.
I played from the Navy colored tees. I'm 70 years old now and enjoy the game more by playing it forward.
Nice tight green, well manacured fairways. Greens were in excellent condition and rolled true.

A nice course. Fairways are fairly wide. Fairways grass was pretty thin giving golfers tight lies. Most green were guarded by deep bunkers left and right. Greens were very true, but hard and fast--it takes a few holes to get used to how to attack these greens. I played as a single and got paired up with a good group of guys. Booked on GolfNow-- good value for the money.
