We have played SR several previous times with LQ residents. The back nine redesign is tortuous, the conditioning is subpar (especially in light of premium price), and a 5 hour round was painful.

Elevated tees then elevated greens. Some nice shorter holes. Hard to access pins and severely shaped greens. No. 1 and No. 18 are very challenging.

Out of the way Gem! Back tees measure 2999yatds. Lots of sand water and undulation. Very large greens in great shape. I'll be back again.

My wife and I were paired with a member and his buddy. We try to play it every year. Good variety. The tough par threes may explain the 4 1/2 hours to play. Tough greens and could be smoother. A nice track and fun to play.

Par 60. Mostly short game, but enough long game. Great for the average senior.
