Top Notch Course

One of the top courses I've ever played. Staff extremely friendly and helpful.

Course was in pristine conditions and the greens are lightning fast. My only complaint about is that they were doing maintenance on close to half the holes. We teed off at 7:50am and almost every hole on the back 9 (around 10am and after ) had maintenance people going across the fairway or around the bunkers. We had to wait for them to get out of the way so we could shoot. This is absolutely unacceptable to be doing maintenance on this many holes at this time of day.

we just played yesterday and its the best course ive played on. But like you, we encountered workers and machines on 9 of the 18 holes including the 4 last ones. My playing partner hit a worker with his second shot on par 5 number 18. However, how can one except such a beautiful course without maintenance?

Beautiful Semi Private Course

It's a clublink course so it's very well maintained. Course is in a residential area so practically every hole is flanked by houses. You're not allowed to play driver on holes 2 and 3 (probably because too many people try to drive the green and end up slicing it into the houses).

First time playing this course; was a bit confusing regarding where to park. You have to park across the street behind some condo.

Staff was pretty friendly/helpful except for the marshall. The scorecard has a recommended time it should take. On number 9 we were literally 4 min behind the recommended pace and they came around to tell us we were playing too slow. There was no one behind us (we sat on the patio after our round and saw no one come off 18 in the hour after us). That really irked me because there was absolutely no reason for that. If there were people waiting behind us I could understand him trying to keep things moving.

Nice course but a bit expensive

Played this course on a beautiful day although it was a bit hot out. We got paired with another two-some who were absolutely set on finishing as fast as possible (they said when they last played here they finished 18 in 2 hours and 15 minutes). They were trying to rush my friend and I all day (despite us not being slow players, and we had to wait on every tee for the group in front of us). They didn't take a single practice swing, didn't pull the pin out when putting, and if they missed a green they would just drop a ball on and putt with one hand (and pick up anything inside 10 ft and seemed annoyed when we'd putt out).

The round took over 5 hours because of the group in front of us who allowed a senior to walk (while the rest of the group took carts). It was clear ahead of them but they didn't let us pass nor did any marshals ever come around to speed them up.

Course was maintained pretty well. Great location tucked away by the airport. Some holes the airplanes were taking off/leading right overhead. Value for money isn't the great; pretty pricey even with golfnow price.

Staff was friendly; nice club house. Food in the bar/restaurant was average but fairly priced.

Top notch course

The staff at this course were phenomenal. Super friendly staff; we ordered food a little bit before our round but it wasn't ready for our tee time. They happily brought it out to us on the course. The cart girl got us food from the bar when we asked.

The course was challenging with lots of variety. Lots of water holes and hazards. The greens were well manicured.

Got a hot deal so we got a great price. The only negative to this course is that the clubhouse is older so the bathroom/locker rooms are a bit out of date and not that clean.

Beautiful Course

It rained the night before I played but course was still in pretty good shape. Some soft tee boxes and bunkers with water but not the course's fault. Other than that the course was very well maintained.

There are some gorgeous holes that make use of ponds/water features.

The pace of play was really quick. It was a long weekend so the course wasn't that busy. Played as a two some and a couple of three somes let us through. Round only took 3.5 hours.

The facilities were nice and clean. Staff was coridal. The drink girl came around a lot; probably saw her 5 times. Great value booking a hot deal. I would definitely play her again and/or the sister course Lakeridge.

Nice course

I booked this with a hot deal so the price/value was very good compared to regular price. I was a single and got matched up with 3 other people. When I arrived at the course my name was on the cart. I thought this was a nice touch.

The starter was quite friendly but the pro shop staff kind of chastised me for being "late". I arrived 10 min before my scheduled tee off time (I'm not from the area so was running a bit behind/didn't know the area). They were running behind anyways and I ended up waiting 20 min (the starter told me I could go across the street to the range and warm up).

Although there was a starter the pace of play was quite slow. We waited at every tee and often the group behind us would catch up to us while we were waiting on the group in front of us. I saw the starter/marshal once during the 5hr round and the drink girl once. There was however a bathroom and drink shop at the 9th/10th hole.

The course is quite long (6700 yards from back tees) with many blind tee shots where you have no idea where the pin is. Each hole only provides the yardage but no diagram of what the hole looks like so you have no idea which side of the fairway you want to go. (Neither course signs or scorecard have diagram).

There were some nice holes with elevation changes however no hole really sticks out in my mind as being very memorable. Had to play driver on almost every hole. The greens were fast and challenging.

Decent course but conditons weren't great

It rained all night the day I played this course so the conditions weren't great. The course was obviously very wet. The bunkers were like swimming pools, the rough had huge puddles and one of the holes the cart path was beside a little creek was completely flooded and I had to backtrack and walk around.

The deal I booked included a cart but the course wasn't allowing carts out on the course because of the water. I didn't want to walk a course of this length so this negatively impacted my experience. (GolfNow refunded part of the price at least).

Besides the rain the course has a decent layout; and some very long holes. There aren't really any holes that really stand out to me. There were lots of hazards which made this course challenging.

The staff was okay. There were no marshals or drink carts out however. The pace of play was okay since it wasn't that busy.

Overall I'd say the course is average. Nothing special. The deal would have to be really good for me to return. It isn't a bad course but with lots of options in Niagara region I probably won't return anytime soon.

A nice course for beginners

This is a nice course for what it is. A small executive/beginners course. The pace of play was decent. I played as a single and was stuck behind 1 group on the first hole and they let me go through. And on the 4th tee I had to wait for a group of kids on a lesson.

The course had a few par 4s and had some nice water features on a few holes. I also enjoyed the decor (some palm trees) on the course.

The staff was friendly (I think I was dealing with the owner Ken). I saw him in the clubhouse and on the course later on raking the sand traps.

I booked this on a hot deal for $9 which included a bucket of range balls and 18 holes. This is tremendous value since many places will charge you this price for a bucket of balls alone. I will definitely return here again.

Course is nothing special

I've played this course a few times over the year as it's one of the closest to me. I was very disappointed in the conditions of the course when I went yesterday.

There is an excessive amount of geese droppings all over the course. The tee boxes, cart paths and greens are littered with droppings. I understand that they can't prevent geese from doing this on the course but I would like to see someone at least removing these (as it seems its been accumulating for a while).

Value for the price is below average; the price includes a push cart which cannot be upgraded to a power cart (you have to pay full price for the cart) and the free gift is just a bag of cheap wooden tees. The driving range was closed (was drizzly weekday afternoon) so they gave me a rain check on the bucket of balls.

Course overall is average. Relatively flat course with wide fairways and only one par 5. Pins were placed in difficult locations however.

I would play the course again if I got a hot deal but definitely wouldn't pay full price to play here.

Beautiful 9 hole course

I've played here twice this season and the pace of play has been really slow both times. Was waiting at each of the last 4 holes; it would have been worse but a pair in front of me looped back around. There was a marshall but they didn't really do anything to help pace of play.

With that said though I still think it's really great value if booked through GolfNow. Some nice elevation changes and beautiful holes. I walked once but was taxing with the steep hills.

It's really close by to me which is definitely a plus. Will go back to play again for sure.
