I’ve been coming to St. Augustine for much of the last 5 winters. Cimarrone feels like coming home. I’ve tried at least 15 course and still will choose it over all the others. It is located in a lovely golf community and beautiful landscaping is well maintained. The course design Is terrific. Water or bog comes into play on each hole so you learn to iaccept it quickly. The opening and closing holes on each nine are the best I’ve seen. Great staff as well. Time to come home to Cimarrone.

I’m a single on winter holiday. They teamed me with a local family out for a long layoff. Everyone was laid back and chatty and it felt like the members at home. Helpful, funny and in the moment. And the course is a well maintened fair test of my so called game.

I’ve heard how good this course is from local players. It had to be good to live up to the hype... and it did! Very welcoming staff (they tightened a club head for me),nice practice area and everything is quality and well maintained. The course is well designed with a great balance of sand, moguls,and water hazards coupled with really fast and true greens and generous fairways. I will play this course every chance I can.

This course shines out because of it’s great layout and condition. It is tough but fair. Clubhouse is modest but it is a municipal course and not a country club. Great practice facitily to boot. I am playing again every chance I get.

Southern hospitality from staff and golfers. Narrow fairways and lots and lots of water and sand. Unfortunately lots of soggy spots all over. Practice area was exceptional. The Bar looked comfy and inviting. Maybe next time.

Only “green”” greens I have seen in the area. All others are dark blue gray and lightning fast. These are manageable and beautiful by comparison. Course needs lots of tlc . Lots of debris, and bare sandy patches. It would help to have cart exit signs near the greens. Staff is great and clubhouse and pub are newly refurbished and first rate.

I came back as a winter resident. Same friendliness, quality and value. I played a day after a major rainfall and was expecting “golfpaths only” but the course was in excellent condition. I want this as my home course.

First sunny day after 2 days of rain and still cold. Course dried out very quickly and was in wonderful shape. Last 3 holes were considered by some the hardest 3 on the Grand Strand when Course build in 1971. A highlight of my holiday here.

I'm treated like a member and this is my course. The staff and other players are very welcoming. Front nine is a links and forest setting. The back, more parklike. An all around joy!

I played last fall for the first time. The trees were gorgeous. It has a great mix of grassy openness and forest setting and lots of contour change that neighboring courses lack. Staff goes the extra mile to make you welcome and satisfied.
