Not friendly

The staff at the pro shop during check-in could be more informative about the lack of water and no beverage cart. The ranger has a cooler with beer, although we only saw the ranger wiz by once on the front and then on hole 17 on the back. There is only drinking water at one place on each 9, this is not nearly enough for arid AZ. Talked to pro shop at the turn about the water issue and they were very indignant about it. There was no food/drink at the turn other than at the pro shop in a small fridge - if you don't know that you will miss it. Played here several times before, probably will not be back.

Great day with the family

Had a GolfNow reservation, had to remind them of that, otherwise we would have payed rack rate. They were very nice about it though. The course was in great condition. Very challenging. Bring a lot of balls, even when you know where your ball is outside of the fairway you will likely not find it, and to keep up play there isn't enough time to really look. Other than losing balls it was a great course to play.

Broken Tee is a favorite

I love this course. There is a lot of water to contend with so bring extra balls. (or just high them straight)
The play was a bit slow but I as a single female golfer was paired with 3 guys that were wonderful.

Good day

The day we played the wind was very strong. (blow your ball off the tee and move it on the green) With that said, the play was still very enjoyable. Greens were very hard, SM10 but didn't hold true-could have been a wind factor. The traps were also firm.

Great staff, course was in great condition, unique elevated tees

Played 6/7/13 and the course was in beautiful conditions. The staff was friendly and helpful. The pace of play was good, waited a couple of times on the front but not enough to cause an issue. The elevated tees are challenging yet par is achievable. Loved this course and will definitely make the drive to play it again.

Great condition for a public course.

The rough is rough, very thick and hard to get out. The conditions were great. They do a good job with the course maintenance. Beautiful views. House are around but didn't seem to be a problem. Greens were in great condition, fast.
