The Highlands Golf Course
Played On 10/31/2019The course was well designed. Good use of berms and knolls.
You must have your A game. We played from the white
tees,and they are tough enough for a 14 hdg.
The course has been improved since i last played it.
Greens and fairways are in great shape.
White/Blue at Myakka Pines Golf Club
Played On 08/27/2019the course layout has many interesting holes
good course conditions,with all the bad weather we have
compared to other courses.
drainage is excellent
greens are smooth
rough is ok
if you can control your drives you will score
The River Club
Played On 06/15/2018the course has great potential .
The greens were demanding but not in good shape.
The fairways were good,but could use more water.
The design of all the holes is excellent.
The practice facilities are good.

The greens are in excellent shape.
For first time golfers I feel that the direction signs need to be improved.
The Bar is very inviting, and there is an outdoor
seating area overlooking the course.
I could consider a membership here.
10 & 19 at University Park Country Club
Played On 08/21/2017The course landscaping was 5 star
We played 10 and 19 .I can not wait to
play course no.1
However,the fairways although wide, were
soft and well bunkered.
The par 3s from the whites were tough.
Bring your sand game if you shoot
for the pins.
The greens are in excellent condition.
Of all the courses i have played in the
Sarasota area, this is the best!!!

This is not a boring layout.
The par 3 s are long even from the white tees.
The par 5 s may look short on the card, however
they are very tough to reach in two.
The greens are in good shape.

The greens are in great shape and interesting
design. Good putting is a must. The fairways
are a true test of your driving skills. The waste
areas are clean,giving you the chance to
recover after a bad shot.The par 3s are very
demanding, even from the white tees.
WATER comes into play on many shots.
The fairways are in perfect condition. I look
forward to playing this course many times,
and rate it top shelf.If you drive the ball in
the fairways, you have a chance to log in
a good score.
