South/West at Monterey Country Club
Played On 1/12/2013Typical course in all aspects, tight fairways with houses on each side
Over priced, there are plenty of courses around that are a better value. Would only play there if my guest wanted to play there just to say he did. Course is not lush, but typical of a so so country club course that is geared for the members. This type of course is on the way out, need to lower price and open to the public to compete, most days, the course is empty. Lowering the price and opening up the public would do wonders for revenue as there are 135 courses around so play those...so so course
Firecliff at Desert Willow Golf Resort
Played On 11/16/2012Perfect for that entertaining golfing experience for visitors and business days
from the time you arrive until you leave, the staff treats you like a full blown member of a swanky country club. The restaurant is first class with a view to die for, the pro shop is very professional, the course is exceptional. There are two courses and both play well, you will not be disappointed with your outing at this place, I would give it 8 stars if I could...keep it in the short stuff,,,
Palm Desert Resort Country Club
Played On 9/2/2012Needs upgrades but plays good and is long and wide
Not bad for a resort/country club course, challenging and has a good atmosphere for playing and having fun. A lot of different looks from the tees and second shots. There also offer deals all the time so for the locals, this is a place to play for a fun happy round..check it out
