Redland Golf & Country Club
Played On 02/13/2022Great VALUE Play...
Have always loved this classic course. Course conditions will never blow your socks off...but the price reflects the product. Greens are relatively well maintained (the most important). The fairways and tee boxes need substantial work but still work to serve the purpose of the game. Sand traps are more than adequate. Cart paths are significantly aged and impact by erosion and wear over time. The course does drain well and affords an opportunity to use carts virtually in all course conditions.
Palmetto Golf Course
Played On 07/11/2021Palmetto still offering GREAT Value golf!
Love Palmetto for what it is..great, affordable golf. Thought the course was in overall good shape given the amount of gold cart traffic it endures. Some greens were showing signs of fungus impact. But overall, this course still delivers a nice, long course experience while also forgiving for those who veer off the fairway!
The Golf Club at Hilton Head Lakes
Played On 11/08/2020Low Country Quality / Value Course
Worth a trip off of Hilton Head in search of "golfing value." Course layout is challenging with mix of narrow landing areas, target golf concepts, "domed" greens, water hazards (plentiful), and limited sand traps. The course is extremely well kept, particularly fairways and tee boxes. Greens appear to be rolled Bermuda (roll really well, just not as aesthetically pleasing). Pace of play is quick as the crowd tends to be more local and respectful.
