Course in very good shape, wet from recent downpours. Greens hard to read, tough pins today! Probably from Club Championship today.
Good pairups, played in 3.5 hrs as a foursome

First off on a beautiful day , breezed around in just over 2 hours. Greens superb, a few tees and a few bunkers were a little rough, fairways in very good shape. Staff friendly as always. Fun course with 5 par 5’s, 5 par 3’s.

First off, solo. It was COLD, with 15-20 mph breeze.
Tees and fairways need a lot of work. Much erosion, cart tracks, wear and tear. Very thin grass everywhere except greens! Greens were not bad at all, dense, consistent, fast (10 ish?)
Last played 3 years ago, layout still quirky, cart paths rough, same general level of disrepair. It does look like a lot of traps have new sand, still very soft.

IF they ever re-grassed the place, might be a decent track and you could overlook the 2 holes that go straight up a hill, and the 3(?) narrow holes with almost no grass where you are gonna roll off the “fairway” no matter what!

Should be lift clean place everywhere, rough shape in a lot of areas, greens make it playable

30 mph winds made it challenging, blew putts off green twice! Course in great shape and playing FAST

High summer, hackers are out. Course in decent shape, a few tees and greens have rough spots. Had enough of the clowns in front laying on the green, wandering aimlessly, and all sitting in the carts while one guy practiced six swings and then fluffed it.

First clue was how many open tee times there were on a weekend!
Nice people, and they seem to be trying, but the course conditions have gone way down hill since last year. Every green has massive dead dirt sports painted green, po is rampant, and the traps are filled but the sand is tough to play from, just piles of that “sugar sand”.

Was hopeful with the demise of the second course, they would have spent some $$ here, but beyond basics they are not .
Holes 4 and 5 are still great holes!

Course in decent shape, greens consistent and true. Second off, paired with two folks behind SLOW foursome.
Went ok until 14, when they ended up waiting for a couple of REALLY slow foursomes that somehow got ahead of them?!
Ticked everyone off and ruined a good round.

Course in generally great shape, a few wet spots linger. Greens fast and consistent. 2 hours pace of play ! Starter and counter guy very friendly, helpful.
10 degrees warmer would be nice !

So I drove 38 miles to try Eagle Springs. Course in pretty rough shape. They DO have a nice cart path!
Tees and “fairways” need a lot of work. Traps are decent , a lot of new sand. Not too many.
Greens are mostly small, raised up a couple feet, from the era of building and maintaining courses with human or animal powered equipment.
They don’t look great but actually roll pretty consistent and are not very bumpy.
A quirky layout, a couple great holes, a few disasters.
Priced appropriately.

Course was cart path only, basically under water. Decent conditions, “Baytowne normal”.
Traps wet/ unrated, understandable with the 8+ inches of rain Thursday
Screen for yardages pretty useless with cart path only. Bring your rangefinder!

Course in great shape, greens rolling true just a tad slow. Dodged the rain and a hole in one on 17 made our day !

Last time I was here, 9 and 18 were reversed. Trees and heather have grown up, greens are smallish and fantastic, fairways plush. Great time, 4:30 on Sunday morning

Greens quick and well grassed. Fairways surrounds and tees seem sparse and slow to grow in. Got in 9 holes before the deluge, will be back with the rain check

No one on the course, played a couple balls all the way around. 25mph North wind kept it challenging. 2 glove day! Course fantastic as usysl

Cold windy and cart path only today . Course wet but playable, traps Ok given yesterday’s torrential rain.
Staff set friendly and accommodating. Still fun!

Course in great shape, greens over seeded and VERY slow. ( Notices posted in pro shop!)
Got around in 1:45 and enjoyed the beautiful day !
