The covid policy phone check-in for my 9:30 tee time with Pat went smoothly. Bag-staff were very accommodating and friendly. After getting my cart I was told where and how to obtain a bucket of range balls. The practice range is a real but short driving range, not a lake with floaters. As no was paired up with me I tee’d off on time as a single, often putting two balls into play. The course was in good shape with green but not plush fairways and very acceptable if somewhat slow putting greens (but bare in mind this is a public course). There was a single player ahead of me and a senior group threesome in front of him. In a not too frequent display of golf etiquette the threesome let him play thru and I didn’t catch up to them until no. 17. I played true to my 10 hcp and walked off the 18th at 12:25! The only regret was that the restaurant wasn’t open due to covid but that is not the fault of the course. An all-around very enjoyable morning of golf. I will return and recommend this course to others.
