I always enjoy playing here. It’s usually in good shape and never overly crowded. The staff is very accommodating. I play here every time I come to Clermont.

I play Kings Ridge three or four times a year when I visit from NC. It's always in good shape. It's not terribly difficult, but presents a good challenge for this 72 year old from the very back tees (6180). I'm sure it was an anomaly, but play last Friday was really slow especially on the back nine. I played alone and expected to have to wait some, but not on every shot. Never the less I'll be back in a few months and will play Kings Ridge.

I've been playing GV since the 1960s when it was nine holes. I have a vacation home nearby and used to play there every time I was in town. Unfortunately, It has declined over the last decade. Before yesterday I played in January (2022) and it was in terrible shape. I was very disappointed. However, yesterday's round showed me there are efforts to bring it back. There's still a long way to go but I see progress. Hopefully the improvements will continue and the conditions will improve.

I play Kings Ridge every time I visiit Clermont and I'm never disappointed. It's a fun tract. While it's not overly difficult there are some challenging holes. The greens are usually great except in the summer and even then they are not too bad,. The staff is very frendly and they always treat their customers with respect. I visit the area three or four times a year and will always play Kings Ridge once or twice on every visit.

I've played there many times over the last 50+ years.
It was usually in great shape. Yesterday I was shocked at the course conditions. The other courses in the Clermont area are much better. I sure hope they can bring it back.
I won't play there again until the conditions improve.

What a great course. We player here years ago and thought the layout was good, but condition was poor. The new owner has done wonders. We come to Clermont for golf twice a year and SF's greens are the best we've seen in several trips. This is now our #1 course. With so many courses in and around Clermont closing, I really hope this one can succeed.

This isn't a review because the course closed before we could play. Frankly, I'm surprised at the closing.
We come to Clermont from NC two or three times a year and try to play a different tract everyday while we're here (usually a week). We actually skipped Legends sometimes because it was too crowded and the pace of play was nearly five hours. Things must have changed drastically since we played there in April of 2017. I hate to see it go as it was usually in great shape whenever we played. Hopefully, someone will rescue this course as the options in Lake County are dwindling. Sugarloaf Mountain, Palisades, and now Legends have all closed in the last decade.

I've been playing here since it opened. Usually once or twice a year when I visit Clermont. It's normally in fair shape, but this time the greens were better than I've seen them in years. It's obvious the new management is working to improve the overall conditions. I hope things go well as several courses in Lake County have closed in the last few years. It's such an interesting layout and not what one would expect from a Florida course. I will definitely play here again and recommend that others give it a try.

Unfortunately, this course is closed. The voicemail says "permanently". I'm hoping someone will purchase and restore this great tract. The condition has deteriorated over the years, but the layout is great.
I've been playing there since it opened in the 90s as we own a vacation home right across Lake Minneola.
It was convenient and a great test of golf for all skill levels. There are other options in Clermont, but Palisades was my favorite along with Sugarloaf Mountain which also closed several years ago.
