Century Oaks Golf Club
Played On 07/31/2015Good, short course
This course is a little bit of a hidden gem, off the beaten path. The staff friendliness was incredible. The course is pretty easy overall. There is a little water on the course but it's pretty avoidable. Appropriate amount of bunkers to guard the holes. You won't use many clubs in the bag and I definitely think you should play the tips. I basically used driver, wedge the whole day. It's a pretty easy course overall because of the low yardage but does have a couple tricky holes. The course was in great shape.
Eagle Eye Golf Club

A really fantastic golf course. It is challenging with tons of water and bunkers, but also fair. There are landing zones for you to hit your tee shots that are pretty generous but a miss hit will definitely penalize you. The rough allows you to find your ball but it is thick and is going to steal some club head speed. The bunkers are greatly manicured and play well. The 17th hole is everything it's supposed to be.
Coyote Crossing Golf Course
Played On 08/05/2014Great course, slow play
This is a really great course. From the Tan tees (on most courses, the white tees), it's not a real long course and makes going for the green in 2 possible with a good tee shot on the Par 5s. It is an extremely difficult course from the black tees. The course will make you use most of your clubs and good tee shots are a must, but are rewarded as well. My only complaint is that on EVERY tee box on the back 9, there were three groups waiting to tee off. It took 5 hours to complete the round and I was a singleton with a cart.
Deer Track Golf Club
Played On 06/23/2014Great Experience
This was my first time at Deer Track and I wasn't expecting too much. It is literally in the middle of nowhere. I was looking to play a quick round and I figured this course wouldn't be too busy. I was very surprised at the condition of the course. The greens are well kept and were REALLY fast. They are not too difficult in terms of undulation, but you want to be below the hole. This course will make you play every club in your bag. There are long par 3s and 4s, doglegs in both directions, etc. Elevated tee boxes and fairways, make you think about your yardage. There are some intimidating tee shots, including the first hole, in which you have to hit driver because of the length of the hole, but have to fit it into a tight space. The front is definitely harder than the back where it opens up a bit. The last hole is a true island green. So, your first shot is difficult and so is the last :).
Very Enjoyable.
West Lafayette Golf & Country Club
Played On 06/19/2014Good Course
This isn't a real difficult course, but it makes you use a lot of clubs. It had rained really hard the night before and the traps were completely full of water and unusable. Hardly any water, but lots of trees. Pretty short course, but they have several big doglegs that make you layup and play the course and not just hit driver.
Verona Hills Golf Course
Played On 7/5/2013A hidden gem
This course is a wonderful course that is hidden in the thumb of Michigan. It will make you play all of your clubs and you will want to hit it in the fairway to avoid blind shots. Almost every hole doglegs left or right and the greens are extremely fast will multiple levels. However, this course is fair and I can see it being much easier if you played it often. I seemed to always be facing a big sweeping putt because I didn't know the layout of the green. Be prepared for a lot of sidehill lies. Fun course.
Frankfort Commons Golf Course
Played On 6/28/2013Short with fast greens
Overall, this is a nice course. The holes are pretty short in terms of lengths but the greens were extremely fast with a lot of curves. It seemed I was always having double breakers. I was surprised at how fast and hard the greens were since we have had a lot of rain recently. I worry the greens would be almost too hard to hold a ball on some of the longer par 3's. Off the tee, there isn't too much trouble as most of the time, the ball can be played if you have an errant tee shot. However, if you go left off the tee (I hardly ever do), it will play a lot more difficult for you as there are 4-5 holes where left is OB. The staff was extremely friendly and had no problem with me using the GolfNow website. I would definitely play again, in particular if I am looking to shoot a low round or am playing with someone who isn't all that good. It is a nice course for all ability levels.
