Course was in great shape, some greens needed work and had patches that were bad, but not all of them..

Course was in great shape , fairways lie close to each other so that can be a issue .. construction going on all around certain holes.. but that a city course for you.. Nice course though.

Course is in great shape and you can barely tell we are in a drought, greens were very nice, fairways were great. Hill Country Golf at its best.

The course is being managed and I have played this course over the years but first time this year and they are working hard to make it better, fairways are being watered now , tee boxes and greens were great shape considering no rain recently. They had workers out there mowing, etc. For the price its a great value, if you havent been in awhile you need to try it again. Thanks.

this course the most unique layout ive ever seen, the rock quarry on the back 9 is truly fascinating to see. Course was in excellent condition, fairways were awesome and greens were almost perfect. Staff was extremly friendly. This course is worth trying at least once but does require good tee shots as grassy areas are outside the fairways. Very Nice.

Don't waster your money unless your a beginner just wanted to get out, fairways and greens are terrible. Fairways weren't even mowed. Some tee boxes were ok but don't let that fool you. This place is beautiful but needs a lot of work.

Very Nice course with awesome hill country views. Course requires alot of precise tee shots as most fairways are very hilly. Fairways were great condition along with greens. This course has a La Cantera feel as its literally just right down the road from it.

The winter has made this course extremely fast on the greens and in the fairway, but I believe once the spring hits and grass grows back it will be even better. Course is making improvements such as new cart paths, etc, overall a nice course to play.

Nice little course tucked away by horseshoe bay that has some great deer to keep you company. Course is challenging and has a lot of slopes and hills requiring some great shots, short game must be dead on to hit par. Great course for the price and staff was friendly and not pushy, even told us where to put the cart key when done.

Way overbooked, play was extremely slow and backed up, had to wait every single hole, course was ok and way to flat and open. I could not even find a place to park and it was not a tournament. Sitting and waiting was not fun at all, had to wait for 3 groups to tee off before we could even start. I don't know why it was so busy because the course is average at best.

Greens were in very good shape and you can tell they take care of them only, fairways are really bad shape. This is a great course to go practice on but not challenging. Staff was friendly.

Greens were great shape, nice course with some really nice oak and mesquite trees. Some really nice fairways and some were ok but has some old time feel to the course that you will enjoy, give this course a try.

Staff was super friendly! Course was in good shape and they seem to take care of it. Nice houses on some of the fairways. I would give it a shot.

This course has gotten a lot better recently, actually has nice fairways and greens are in pretty good condition. Great course to play for the money and would diffently give it a try. I would ask though that each ball cleaner have water, however each water cooler did and that's more important.

This course is very well taken care of and challenging even for the experienced golfer. Fairways were unbelievable, greens were perfect , and water was in each ball cleaner! Carts have a awesome huge screen for GPS system which was very nice. Great chipping and practice green, good luck on hole 18 hitting over the water"

Fairways were unbelievable, challengers bunkers, greens were excellent and views were great. Houses on this course are also really nice, great area, and at times you can see Twin Sisters in the distant, locals know about twin sisters.
