played about 11.30 and was really quite, fairway need cutting and where very muddy which made it difficult to fine your ball, even on the fairway, it didn't help the sun was very strong in you face.
usual 3 young lads didn't notice they where holding me and a 2 ball up but it was half term.
greens where pretty good for this time of the year.

played here before covid, they must of had a chain saw for Christmas, its a shame 3 holes have changed for the worse but still a very good coarse, excellent greens and very fast. some tees are being re newed so your off one tee or a good mat.
overall worth every penny, and would play there tomorrow, i was surprised how wet it was in places.

always a good test of golf, easy walking, and i very good condition, greens in great shape, tee could do with a bit of tlc, overall great for the price, not a east coarse if the winds blowing, with lots of water in play.

really interesting coarse, if a bit hilly, good greens and tees and varied holes, it makes you play no just smash the ball of the tee everytime.

paid here many times, unfortunately Marriott seam to have lost interest, the greens are brilliant, the tees need some work(watering and seeding) and the bunkers need the weeds removed and a good rake, this is not expensive work but would make a world of difference.
the coarse has a good layout,and some great holes.

i have played lydd a good few times and its always a challenge, with water in play on a number of holes and if the wind blowing it adds to the difficulty
the tees could do with some attention but the greens are fast and reasonable for the green fee.
bring load of old balls as the roughs thick and the waters always a risk.

the coarse appear to be a bit un loved with un raked bunkers and greens that need watering as they where turning brown.
the greens where reasonably fast, some tees need a bit of tlc, generally a good test of golf, but not up to mariot standards.

crowborough beacon is a challenging coarse with some brilliant hole, with doglegs, hills and trees to keep you awake, thats not to mention the heather.
the green where reasonable but had been worked on recently so will only get better. the tees where quite good accept the last.
very friendly pro as was everyone we spoke to, if your not use to walking take a buggy.
the views are stunning from. most holes

Sene valley is a coarse of 2 half all kept to a high standard, the front nine is more open than the back nine, but the coarse has plenty of terrain and twist and turn to keep interested. the back nine is one of the best your find with twisting holes and terrain changes.
the greens are well kept as is the rest of the coarse,
you need take a club lest if the ground hard as the greens are quit hard.
