Good course in Northern Vegas

Got a good deal to play Badlands so figured I'd give it a shot. Hadn't played in a couple of months and Badlands offered a good course for me to return. Not overly difficult, but still required good shot making and thinking through each hole. Greens were in good condition as was the rest of the course. Would definitely play again if I can get out there this summer.

Hi Kevin3899873,

Thank you for playing at Badlands Golf Club. We are happy to hear you were able to play the course for a great deal. It is always nice when the greens are in good shape for an enjoyable round. We hope you will be back to see us for another round soon!

Best Wishes,

Good course in good shape. Didn't get to finish because pace of play was so slow that we ran into darkness

Very excited to play Biltmore for the first time. Liked the shot values and variations on each hole. Unfortunately there was no marshall to help keep the groups in front of us on pace so we weren't able to finish before dark even though we teed off at 2pm. Would definitely go back though just so I could get through 18 holes. Greens ran true and course was in very good shape.

Good course close to Phx airport and convenient for travelers and fun to play

Great course with lots of good shot values. Nice mix of short and long holes and challenging par-3's. Round wasn't exceptionally slow considering the time of day and time of year. Had a lot of fun and will definitely return to play there again when i'm back in Phoenix.

Great course. Hidden gem in Southern Phoenix

Played in Phoenix and this is my first time at Whirlwhind, but I'll definitely come back again in the future. Well routed course that rewards good shots and offers numerous options off the tee to score well. Pace of play was excellent (under 4 hours at 10am on a Friday in August) and course was in very good shape.

This course is very well laid out and in great shape. Still places a premium on good shot location off the tee and with approach shots.

Had a frost delay the morning I played, but staff did an excellent job of keeping all golfers informed on course status and combining players into foursomes so that we could start quickly once the course was ready. We had a slow foursome in front of us and the marshals did a good job of keeping us informed about it as well as continuing to prompt the group to speed up, which they eventually did. It's only a short drive out from downtown Phoenix and well worth the trip for the money. Can't wait to get out there again in the summer.

The primary defense for this course on many holes is the greens themselves. Bring your putter and your focus

This course is still a lot of fun to play. Greens were in perfect shape, firm, fast and rolling true. Course offers a very fair test, but you must stay in position off the tee or you will get punished. Great pace of play (we finished in just over 3 1/2 hrs on the Monday afternoon of Thanksgiving week) and accommodating staff (starter let us go off on the back 9 first which really helped speed up our round. Great value on Golfnow and I'll definitely be back out there.
