About

I am a dynamic figure, often seen scaling walls and crushing ice. I have been known to remodel train stations on my lunch breaks, making them more efficient in the area of heat retention.

One Of, If Not The Best, Courses In The Area

CFB Borden's surviving golf course, and it is a beauty. An impressively challenging 18 that offers everything from bunkers to pond/river water hazards. Conditions are very well maintained, the have an exceptional Club House Staff (and instructors), and the kitchen offerings are absolutely delicious.

You're "Bang-For-Buck" is surprisingly good for this type of course and is well worth your time.

A Truly Fantastic Experience At One Of NS's Legendary Courses

One of the only true "Private Clubs" in the Maritimes, Ashburn's "Old Course" has no rival within Mainland Nova Scotia. Incredible practice facilities, stately clubhouses, with an inviting and friendly Staff make this an incredible outing. Fun Fact : In 2018 the back 9 greens and bunkers at the Old Course will be rebuilt for the modern game, opening in June of 2019.

A Gem Of A Course

Tucked away on the South Shore of NS, River Hills is a beauty of a course. Excellent conditions, true to play greens, and a supportive staff make this an absolute "Must Play" within the Tri-Counties.

Off-Course though... Not much going on. You're a 10-min drive to Barrington, 20-min drive to Shelburne, or a 40-min drive to Yarmouth, so plan accordingly.

A Quaint Links Course

While the conditions of the course leave a bit to be desired, this is still very much worth your time to have a round. A fairly easy overall play, but challenging enough that you don't feel cheated at the end.

Top Notch Course On NS's South Shore

A great little spot for a round of 18 on Nova Scotia's Sou'West Shore. Challenging greens, beautiful forested surroundings, and a superbly helpful staff. The only draw-back to the course is that there is nothing really around to do before/after the round. While there are some amenities in Pubnico itself, you're looking at driving the 30min into either Yarmouth or Barrington.

Playing Into The Fog Adds An Extra Challenge!

One of my favourite "Military" courses, Hartlen offers a bit of a challenge with a fantastic Atlantic Ocean view. Beautifully clear on the front 9, moderately thick fog on the back 9 (a proper Nova Scotia treat). The course itself is very well maintained, is considerably open, and has an excellent Club House Staff. Off-course does have options within Eastern Passage, however, you're likely better off heading to Halifax for your post-round entertainment.
