Played Easter Sunday and walked - a bargain at $30 early in the season. Greens were firm and held, but the rest of the course was damp to wet - so virtually no roll. 2nd time playing in the early season, I need to come back and play in warner weather and in drier conditions.

Played on Good Friday, sunny but cool (temps didn't get out of the high 40's). Greens are smaller and have more slope but less undulations than greens on its sister course. Fun to see the course pre-growth before all the hazards and native grasses mature for the season. Pace was slow (4.5 hours) likely due to the 1:45 frost delay, but it was still very pleasant. As the marshals are quite diligent in having groups keep pace, I'm thinking the slow play issue will disappear as we get into the heart of the season.

This was the second time I played the course this season and fared better with some built in knowledge after playing earlier. Course is tough but fair. Greens are big and fast. Looking forward to playing here again next weekend.

Took nearly 5 hours to get our round in - groups were stacked up like cord wood in the morning. Waiting to play every shot become burdensome and easier to get out of rhythm. Contrasted to our afternoon round on Reflections which took the same 3 of us 3 hours and 23 minutes to play.

Didn't score as well as 2 years ago, but still had fun and it is my favorite of the 4 Garland courses available.

Our first course to play for our weekend (Friday afternoon); traps were being updated so we were urged to play pick up, rake and place balls back in the bunker - no issues. Condition of fairways and greens: outstanding.

Took advantage of 2 for 1 coupons and played this gem. Weather conditions were perfect but the course was a bit dry which meant that the greens were fast (and delightful). Fun layout. Shot 85 (45/40) and but for a few errant approach shots, I could have shot so much better.

Have played here dozens of times, first review though. Easy walkable course from 6200 (blues). Tree lined fairways - emphasizes keeping it in the short grass. Greens were immaculate and rolled very true - had only 28 putts..

Comparing the Dream to its sister course is a comparison of night v day. Prefer the Nightmare.

Started on hile 10 and went par - par until I hooked my ball into the hozel grabbing high grass left of the hole of the par 3 12th. for a triple! This notwithstanding, I still had a great time at the well maintained course in Frankenmuth.

Looking forward to playing it again. A bit of course knowledge goes a long way.

Quite a nice course as part of a residential development and (now closed) ski resort. Greens were true and fast and the layout was fun. Least favorite hole was the extreme downhill par 3 - the uber bunkered par 5 12th was a favorite.

Grill in and fully outfitted proshop in one building and a full service restaurant is a 1 minute walk away.

WIll definitely be back.

This was my 4th time playing this course and I dislike it the more I play. Place is a swamp after moderate rain. more than half the greens and all the fairways were sopping wet. Many of the greens are extremely challenging (it's only redeeming value besides the grill). Maintenance of the course leaves much to be desired. Grass can't grow on the 17th tee. Committed to playing 6 more times this season. The inky course I will not return to after our commitment expires.

Weather went from warm to cold and rainy but we still had fun. Fun old school course layout. Only gripe was the approach to the tee on the 15th hole - repairs in front of green - no GUR rope or paint or red stakes to mark it as a hazard.

Thoroughly enjoyed the course and topography. Course knowledge will definitely help next time.

I play here most Sundays from late April thru September and every other Saturday. Entirely different course from the blue or black tees v the whites.

Low spots get water logged after a heavy rain, but the greens are always in good shape & challenging regardless of the weather.

No green is flat and slope as follows:
R - L: 1, 5, 6, 7, 9 , 10, 14,
L - R: 18
B - F: 2, 3, 4, 8, 11, 12, 13, 15, 16, 17

Landing position on your tee shots especially important on 1 (tree in middle of fairway), 5 (pond), 8 (penalty area), 15 (ponds on the left for entire carry), 17 (heavily bunkered on left and pond on right) and 18 (pond on left for entire carry and fairway bunker along right side).

Great value for the money! We played from the white tees our first time and from the black our second. The course was in great shape. Definitely off the beaten path, but I'm planning to come back and play again.

It was the 3rd course we played in our mini excursion and my least favorite in terms of the general condition of the course.The tee boxes and fairways more chewed up than the other 2 we played, which were pristine.
